But I could swear my mother made fish sticks.

I mean fish sticks and dark chocolate almond cherry cluster things.

Umm...no. I was never particularly fond of fish sticks and I'm a MILK chocolate lover, not dark chocolate. I always leave the dark chocolate for you.

Why would anyone purposefully make fish sticks?

For example, I see two fish sticks just sitting there on their collective hands - Ben and elmore.  Hey boys - we're havin' a party.

Greetings from Toyland! I have been quite busy since I got here: meeting with Curtis on the current ROBERTA situation; we're in great shape!; search of two of the seven McGlinn external hard drives for music from SHOW BOAT. When I leave here, I'm heading back uptown to market and then to home.

SHOW BOAT music --- meaning, scores or recordings or what?

McGlinn probably had several chorus boys from SHOW BOAT stuffed away in the (ahem) hard drive.

You didn't know my mother.  Read the Kritzer books and you will know all about it.

I love any film score that mixes the film score with Puccini, don't you?

I am very relaxed, so that's good.  Except for the eight ounces of tuna pasta salad in the tummy.

I think we should all buy Gorton's fish sticks and relive our youths.

I see KevinH - perhaps he'll join in the merriment and mirth and laughter and legs.  Maybe if we talk about the two B's - Brent and Barbra.

One of my favorite supporting players of the 40s died earlier this month, at age 97! He had quite a life!

RIP Greg McClure

(I posted this photo of him yesterday on Facebook, but I think it is worth a second look!)

I can't imagine why he was one of your favorites.

Well, the Puccini in this film score is the point - and the music by the composer is equally as ravishing I have to say.  I think we have not only the album master to this, but the complete score - the original LP was only thirty-five minutes, and about ten of those minutes are Puccini.

I see - elmore left without so much as a chili word.  I think a proper bitch-slapping is in order.

They were probably being prepared and served AFTER you left.

I haven't made a chili in a couple of years.  This situation needs to be corrected.

I love shopping for it, and spending an entire afternoon cooking it.

We've gotten quite a few orders today for the oddest things.  And I have to say, the Blu and Ray of Nudie Musical continues to sell regularly.  I originally pressed 500 of them and those were all gone last July, which just amazed me.  I then printed 500 more and at least 200, maybe more, of those are gone.
