Keith made a stir fried tofu veggie noodle dish that is delicious.  I will have enough for leftovers tomorrow night.  We often eat different meals because we want different things.

Into Chapter Three and eleven pages today - I guess I'll do one more page later, just to get past the little section I'm on now.

DR MBarnum I'm glad you had a wonderful time.  Did you offer to pet sit?

Of course!

Getting my act together... not really taking it on the road, but heading to Disneyland tomorrow with the DP and his mom and my mom.  Smile everyone!

Wow, that sounds kind of uncomfortable.  But hey, it is Disneyland.

It might not be.  Disneyland is my territory.  Plus, my mom and I love to travel together, so that will be fun - and we love to do Disney together.  We've done Disneyland and Walt Disney World (twice!).

We are driving, actually, I'm driving, which is fine.  We'll have a nice ride and I predict a good trip.  Of course, I'll do my best to check in

Today at work, we had a question/answer meeting with our new director, Cheryl.  There were more people there than there usually is at a regular staff meeting.  Questions were asked and answered and everyone expressed happiness that Cheryl was chosen.

And on that note (C-natural), I'm leaving work early.  I have some shopping to do, then I'll go home.

Be back later.

Time to watch a motion picture.  I'm dealing with a slight annoyance - it looks like we have to move our usual Sunday night show for February to Monday because of the stupid Super Bowl.  If they'd told us this four weeks ago we could have at least had the option of moving to Saturday night, but that's now also booked.  So, we'll do it but I've told them it can NEVER happen again on a Monday (it's only happened twice before and both times we had a Saturday night show, which is fine).  Because they way it's being presented is if I don't take the Monday then we miss February and I've told them in no uncertain terms if I EVER miss a month that I leave and find a new home.  We sell out this room, it provides a huge dinner tab for the club and they need to protect that rather than alienate it.  This comes just as I find out that we're now sold out for Sunday with a waiting list.

I'm not sure how one goes about uploading photos here any more, so if you click on the FB link, you can see my new dog, Chester, who we adopted today.

In that case, we can still have our big Super Bowl party right here!

I went to dance class expecting the first tap class. But it was not to be. Neither was the heat, which wasn't working in the building. I managed to work up a sweat thanks to an run of classes in Argentine tango, fox trot, waltz and cha-cha, but I was still cold the entire evening.

Finished with my viewing - Le Herisson (The Hedgehog), the French movie from France that dear reader Jeanne recommended.  Brilliant.

I've ordered the book (first UK edition, which is the only hardcover edition), and the soundtrack by Gabriel Yared, which is gorgeous.

Is that based on the Murial Barbery book? I loved her "Gourmet Rhapsody."

Yes, based on Barbery's book.  I may order Gourmet Rhapsody, too.  The Hedgehog has such wonderful performances, including an amazing one from the little twelve-year-old girl, who's kind of a dead ringer for Sami Staitman, who can be seen playing the hooker in episode two season two Outside the Box.
