Breakfast:  Two (2) coffees,  banana, and a whole layer of DR John G.'s pastries.  These should be taken away from me, right now.  Confiscate them.  Lock them up.  On a high shelf.

I need another coffee.

I will drive up there, snatch them from your hands and eat them all to save you Chas _ I am just that nice

Good morning, all!

It's a morning of tsuris: after spendng the day juggling dates and working my colleagues into a frenzy, the producers of the show Rob is committed to notified him yesterday that they are postponing production for two months. Now he is unavailable in September, and there is no way my teams - copy and Dublin - could be ready to record in May. So, I've spent this morning dealing with all of this megillah.

So, today I am off to the NYPL and the Dorothy Fields Collection. I hope the trip is profitable.

Just bidin' my time.

I dodged a bullet last night.

I came home to find the temperature in my house at 63 degrees.  And yet the heater was set at 74.  It would run, but there was no fire in the furnace.  Fortunately, my heater is covered by my gas & electric company and even more fortunately, they were able to send a guy out to fix it.  Turns out my ignition was dull.

*WHEW*  That could have been nasty had your pipes frozen  good thing you came home when you did

Just one more night of these freezing temps. I would enjoy it a lot more if my garden wasn't freezing. I have no idea how much will be left when this is all over.

Just watched Sunday's episode of Downton Abbey.  Quite a shocker-I have to admit I didn't see it coming.

I didn't either.

I didn't see it.  I wonder what happened.

They are growing. I will put them on the plant my friend gave me tomorrow, as they have eaten the clippings she gave me. I think The Monarch Scientist has a small amount of plants, so I will give some caterpillars to her.

Oh right, the new recording of "Sweeney Todd" - I'm through "The Worst Pies of London" and I'm already bored.  I'm sorry, this music does not work without the singer doing some acting with their vocals.  The chorus is a "Chorus" - there is no accents, colors, or anything, flat as paint.  I'd rather have the score sung with some acting and character and sacrifice the quality of the singing, especially with "Sweeney Todd"  I'm hoping to get through it, but I can't promise anything.  LOL
And right now I'm watching Miss Audra MacDonald butcher a medley of "Not a Day Goes By" and "What Can You Lose?" because she's overacting like crazy.

TOD:

Looking at Warren Beatty's film credits on IMDB, I find that I have no favorite Warren Beatty films.

Did you see the funny remake of HEAVEN CAN WAIT?
The one with Chris Rock?

Now, thankfully, the tape has moved on to Len Cariou and Angela Lansbury singing "A Little Priest." Fun. And, yes, they act it as well as sing it.

I am becoming a CASTLE addict. I'd be a MENTALIST addict, but I am so sick of that ridiculous Red John character and his continuous reappearances as Super Villain, all knowing and controlling the completeState of California. Ridiculous!

Well, I'm off.  Off to my sister's to visit with the visiting cousins from Oregon.  My parents will be there, too.

Until later!

Too many damn distractions today - constant and annoying.  It shatters my concentration and it's like starting from scratch when I try to get back in the rhythm of writing what I was writing.  The only call that meant anything today was from Muse Margaret who'd read the first thirty of the eighty-seven pages she got today (she'll finish the rest in the morning) - she wanted me to know she loved them, and that made me very happy.

I guess I've done about seven pages so far, so I'll take an hour break and then do three or four more, which should get me almost to the end of a chapter.  And I know how this chapter ends, so that's good.  After that, seven more chapters to go.
