The Dollar Store is another chain that everything is a $1 or less -  this chain is called  "Big Deals"   Most things are $5 or less but occasionally they will have items that cost as much as $20

Let's see.  I"ve lost 10 pounds since I started my diet on the 3rd, but haven't started exercising yet. I do have Zumba but haven't taken it out of the box

I'm trying to figure out when I"m going to sneak in a quick trip to NYC to see The Mystery of Edwin Drood.  I've gone back and forth about going and have decided I'll kick myself if I don't just do it.  So I'll probably go either President's day weekend or the weekend after that and probably for only 2 nights.   I have credit for a ticket I cancelled so the plane fare will be pretty cheap.   I'm likely to be going back later in the year, so I don't feel bad making this a quick trip.

I spent a couple weeks before my diet eating all the junk I wanted to.  It's really made it easier not to eat it now

I can make it happen if I just plan it and go, so that's what I'm going to do.  Callie has been so good lately I hate to board her, but if I have to I have to.

I had planned to work today but after seeing Tony Bennett Friday night, getting up early on Saturday and spending the day helping my parents out, then fighting a 30-40 mph cross wind on the drive home, I was exhausted.  I decided to just sleep, do the grocery store etc and work tomorrow.  I gave Edith the day off so it will be quiet at the office and hopefully I'll get a lot done
