The old home phone and internet are gone.  New wireless line and internet are in.

Now, who do I give my new phone number to ????
Within 2 days someone I do not like knew my home phone was disconnected.  Not one person in 3 years from my weekend meeting has ever called me at home.  And within 2 days she reports me as being the IGR rep with a disconnected phone number.

Odd.  You can always block her phone number ;)

As I mentioned earlier, I finished my Basil Rathbone play a couple of days ago and felt that brief elation when one completes a project.  That, however, soon turned into a mild feeling of dejection, as one realizes that the project is finished.

 :(

Aww, and  ;D  I understand the feeling.

Back from (you'll never guess) Walmart, with the strange but welcome LILITH / SHIP OF FOOLS  double feature Blu-ray in hand.

7:00pm and no sign yet of the "sexy postman."  I wonder if he takes his time on big days to raise the overtime? No wonder the stupid post office is in financial trouble.

Sadly, over the weekend, I learned that  two very wonderful 1950s B movie actresses passed away. The media was not alerted, so word is just now coming out.

The lovely Marla English, star of THE SHE CREATURE, RUNAWAY DAUGHTERS, VOODOO WOMAN, FLESH AND THE SPUR, and 3 BAD SISTERS passed away on December 10.

The other actress who passed away was a favorite of mine, Merry Anders, star of POLICE DOG STORY, 20,000 EYES, THE TIME TRAVELERS, AIR PATROL, THE HYPNOTIC EYE, and a guest star on just about every TV show made in the 50s and 60s. She also starred in the sitcom version of HOW TO MARRY A MILLIONAIRE. Merry Anders passed away Octobert 28th.

Did a bit of the contextual commentary after making the tentative show order, which I hope I got right after about three tries.

Now I'll attempt to finish To Rome, With Love, and then we'll see what I feel like after that - got The Quiet Man, Beloved (a critic-dividing film from France from the maker of Love Songs), and The Seven Percent Solution.

BK, I saw THE LIFE OF PI this weekend in all of its 3-D glory.

Wonderful film...loved it.

And of course it  featured two popular Bollywood stars of the 1990s, Irfan Khan and Tabu.

The moral of the story was great and important...although I understand it has irked a few Conservative Christian organizations.

DR MBarnum I enjoyed the photos you shared of the two actresses.  It is nice you paid tribute to these women.

I watched five episodes of DOWNTON ABBEY last night.

Certainly lots of things going on this season......the Bates story does not compel me....but we shall see where it goes.  Other stories are more interesting....

Thomas is going to get himself into trouble again if he is not careful!

Are you talking about season 2 or 3?

For those watching season 3 on dvd can you mention that you are watching season 3, since the rest of us are currently watching it on PBS.

DR Jane, it was posted by DR Doug R on Thursday morning.  We had a lovely visit with him Wednesday evening in the pub on the ground floor of our hotel in London.
