The run-through with the singer went surprisingly well.  I gave a few notes and that was that.

I went to Juliana's photo shoot, but didn't stay.  Then I got emergency texts telling me I had to come back because they didn't know what to do.  Curious, since I'd have a very long and detailed discussion with the photographer about it.  I couldn't go back since the rehearsal was starting, so I texted her and e-mailed her and called her and told her to call me right back so I could hear exactly what was going on.  Haven't heard a peep since.  I have my suspicions about what may have happened, and said suspicion has nothing to do with the photographer, who is great.

DR Cilla this is the sign you need, only with a cat instead of a dog.

My mom gave me a Crazy Cat Lady sign years ago.

I think I first saw Peter Pan on TV.  I did see it on Broadway with Sandy Duncan

In one week I shall be 60.

That's the title of my new book.

It's also true.

You have many friends here who are already members of that club.  Hope you have something fun planned to celebrate!

Oh come on, Ginny.  You and I both know that old-man Ben has a good ten years on us!

Just ordered the Cathy Rigby DVD.  I can at least ketchup with that.

I think that Cathy is a hundred times better now as Peter, than she was on the DVD.  She truly improves with age.

For those of you who are fans of Basil Rathbone:

My one-person play, RATHBONE, is now available on Amazon in both paperback and Kindle editions.

Amazon tells me that this title is not available for the Kindle, but I was able to submit a request to the publisher.

Of course, the Mary Martin version was a memorable part of my childhood.

I never saw Sandy Duncan---wish I had.

Cathy Rigby is amazing!  The first time I saw her my mouth was open with amazement!  Not to mention Brent as Captain Hook, who clearly is having the time of his life, as BK said.

Kevin, you have probably already seen this clip, but you can get a good idea of the "joy" that Sandy Duncan brought to the role of Peter.  I saw her do the show four times on Broadway, and every time I saw her, I became a child again.  And I was at the stage door after every performance.

Just read through the contextual commentary and it works fine.  Made a few little changes.

The wonderful Kathi Moss who was in the original Broadway casts of Grease (Cha Cha), Nine (Saraghina  sp?) and Grand Hotel passed away today. Last week (Jan 14) her friends got together at an Actor Fund's concert to raise money for her. She was unable to attend, but was able to watch it via computer.

Her is her wonderful performance on the Tony Award show with her show stopping Be Italian

Here is a link to her website

This is so sad.  Condolences to her family and friends.

As a child, I grew up with the Mary Martin version of PETER PAN, so I was disappointed when I saw the Disney version.  I liked it, of course, but I wanted the songs from the Broadway production.

As I mentioned before, I saw Sandy Duncan do PETER PAN four times on Broadway.  She just blew me away.  That was also the first production to add Sandy flying out over the house on the final bow.  And Sandy was absolutely charming to every single adult and child that waited for her at the Stage Door.
