A DAY IN THE LIFE OF BK
« on: January 29, 2013, 12:25:10 AM »

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were a day in the life of BK, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently having a day in the life of the cows.

And I probably need to replace my laptop tomorrow.

Long story.  A story for later.  For now, let's just say:  Oy!

Tonight I have a council meeting at church - the budget was approved including a salary for an associate Pastor -  the candidate the call committee has nominated is coming to meet with we Church Council members tonight.

If we vote to call this candidate then that person will come and preach in 2 weeks time  and then have a meet and greet and Q&A with the whole congregation and then a vote will be held

I found something called  Better Oats and really like them   but they were being discontinued at my local Stop & Shop

the good thing is that when they discontinue and items they greatly discount it so I stocked  my pantry with a 2 month supply at about a third the cost   :)

I never saw Better Oats at Stop and Shop. We buy the Stop and Shop Regular (not quick cooking) brand and we stock up when we go out to LI since there is no Stop and Shop in Manhattan.

It sounds as though MR BK is being very GOOD on his diet.

It is an inspiration to those of us who are just starting out - again.....

Good morning all.  I just wanted to ask for some of those famous vibes for my friend, Thelma.  Her husband, Bill, passed away last Thursday night.  I took today off so I can go to the funeral today.

I went to the viewing last night.  So sad but Thelma is a trooper and seems to be holding up.  I worry for her when this is all over and it sinks in.

Hope all is going well with all of you!

Hugs.

Request for vibes. The minister at church, who has been there since the church opened more than 30 years ago and currently serves as associate minister, announced Sunday that he has been diagnosed with dementia. Needless to say, it was hard news to hear.
