Toyland was a busy place today and I never got a moment to myself. Curtis was there, and we ran through the current status of ROBERTA scores, I proofread "Youre Devastating" and dealt with some dialogue over music in the ladies' trio arrangement of "The Touch of Your Hand."

It was the bus ride from hell getting home; too many nannies, moommies and schoolkids. My theory of child care? Kids in comas cause no problems.

I think it's actually the moommies that cause all the problems.

HEY!!!!

 I resemble that remark!!

Yes, it's a shame Doug R can't report that kind of thing to amazon so they can remove it.

Can't he report it to them. Why not try. If he explains that this person is an idiot and it's hurting his ratings.

DR Jane--to answer your question from yesterday:  I understand there are 51 people going to my nephew's wedding/cruise.

Watched Outside the Box. I realized that the first scenes are always pretty funny even if you are unfamiliar with the movie.

I actually did three loads of laundry last night...my blankets and sheets and pillow cases.  I still have one more to do tonight.  I also had to sew up the edges of my two blankets, which took a while.  I bought a little battery-powered, hand-held sewing machine that actually worked fairly well.

Can you sew a button on a shirt?

Yup...of course, it's much easier than sewing the edges of my blankets, that's for sure. ;)

Just listened to Ben!  You sounded great.  I'm sure Beverley would love to see you again--maybe you and Anthony should go to the UK for your trip this year!

Wedding cruises seem to be the thing to do as I'm going on one in July!

A floating destination wedding.  I doubt I would complain.  That isn't really true, it would depend where we went.

Two nieces now have had weddings where everyone is at the same hotel/resort.  It makes for a very friendly atmosphere and more time spent with my family.

Oh, believe me, it's high on the list. I would be able to see Beverley in Wales again and my cousins in Sheffield and friends in London and Nottingham and Middlesbrough. I'm looking into flights now and also I'm looking into the train situation because we need to get to and from all these places. Our friend in Nottingham has a house and she said we could stay at her place and use it as a base and travel to our various destinations. It's going to take some research to figure it  all out.

Hmm...Oscar Producers Aim to Cut Out the Boring Parts.

We'll see.

;)

Wonder if they will cut out the lame jokes the presenters are forced to say.
