Good morning, all! I am up too early, but I need to discover the geography of New Jersey Transit at Penn Station this morning before I get lost there tomorrow trying to get to Hamilton,NJ.

I find Penn Station fascinating in its weirdly designed complexity, though truth to tell, I've only had reason to go in there a couple of times and those were years ago. But I dearly love exploring that kind of urban infrastructure and I should get me down to NYC to do it a little more often.

Yes, DR ChasSmith. It's a 2-hour taping session. It will be cut (way) down, I assume, to go with their march 17 broadcast of EILEEN. The station is WWFM, and I believe the program is "The Dress Circle."

And I am off to Penn Station and Toyland!

Greetings from Toyland! Once I discovered NJ Transit in Penn Station, I realized that I'd been there before, with either DR FJL or Skip. I believe it may be when we went to see Maureen Silliman in THE GLASS MENAGERIE.

My ticket would have been $30 roundtrip but with my senior discount it was only $13.50! I am fully informed and set for tomorrow.

Neil Simon must have fallen out of fashion late 80's/90's because the "big screen" adaptations of his plays were done for the small screen and he even did tv remakes and not for the better. Broadway Bound, London Suite, Jake's Women, Laughter on the 23rd Floor, Odd Couple Remake, Plaza Suite remake, Sunshine Boys remake, Barefoot in the Park remake, The Goodbye Girl remake and Rumors but done for French TV

I thought from the mid 80's onwards his original screenplays were awful: The Marrying Man, The Slugger's Wife, The Lonely Guy, The Odd Couple II (Which I believe is his last original screenplay)

DR Ben, I just listened to your EVITA segment on BBC Wales. Loved Beverly's birthday wishes to you! Also, right after your segment, she talks about Candlemas and plays John Rutter's CANDLELIGHT CAROL. Last time I'd heard that was live in Canterbury Cathedral. A local visiting choir was practicing while we were touring and then they sang for the Evensong service we attended.

It was that, but also an amalgam of other similar books.

I'm up after a somewhat rough night of sleep. Once again, for about the tenth time in the last three months, I'm fighting not to get sick. EVERYONE is sick and they don't stay home, they go out or visit and I do NOT want to catch this stuff. I'm hoping what started to happen on Friday is due to allergies, but my throat was bugging me all yesterday, which is why I had trouble sleeping. So, I'm popping Coldeez again and Airborne and hopefully it's not too late for those. I don't LIKE this. And if I AM fighting an actual illness rather than an allergy, I suspect I know where I got it - but here's hoping we fight the good fight.
