Trying to watch the last episode of Downton and write a story, but Downton is stopping every 30 seconds or so. Very irritating. I don't think I have the stamina to stay up for the ending. Will watch in the morning, I guess.

I see our usual nutcase suspects have done their dirty work at the imdb, where Outside the Box went from a ten rating to a three rating - multiple one votes most likely from the same person using different sign-in names.  Brilliant.  And sick.  And disgusting.

Cillaliz -- do you agree with this statement?

"The job of the defense at this point isn't to walk her out of the courtroom. Their job is to keep her from getting the death penalty."

Basically, yes.  It's going to be hard for anyone to buy that she stabbed him 29 times and shot him all in self defense.  They are trying to keep her from getting death or trying to get second degree murder which, if I remember right, would make her parole eligible at some point.  Can't remember Az sentencing laws

I just watched the replay of the 48 hours they did of the trial back in 2009.  Holy moly on rye, her story is completely different now then it was on the show.   This is going to be a fascinating cross examination.  Hopefully she's through explaining her long, sordid and kinky sex life and will get to the actual murder tomorrow.  I have a feeling I'm going to be watching this a lot this week.

That stinks BK.   Is it at IMDB?   If we all go over there and give it a 10 that should help

I'm not sure where to go to rate it, can you give me a link.  I can go to Broadwayworld.com, but I didn't find it on IMDB doing a quick search

It's so obvious just looking at the stats for the votes - two one-star votes - and since the only real place I've put this is here, I think we know exactly what we need to know.  It was on Facebook, but no one I know there would have been so immature and stupid.  No, it's the usual crap from the usual suspects.  I expected it, and if we get back up it won't surprise me if the person just creates a few more usernames - that's the MO for this - create endless usernames to do this dirty work.  And why?  For what?  I just sit here knowing that karma will take care of this in the long run.  Believe it.

For the Downton fans, I missed 60 minutes piece on Dame Maggie Smith.  It's on Broadwayworld.com and it was fun to watch

My duty here is done.  I do have a lot to do at work tomorrow.  I am having lunch with someone who claims to be a local immigration lawyer, but I think he just has a straw office set up so he can advertise in Iowa.  The door is always locked.  Anyway, we'll see if he really shows up or if he finds a reason not to come.  He's licensed in Kansas which is where I suspect he'll be tomorrow. We shall see

Thank you both.  Since this person is probably reading this and getting a big kick out of it - well, at some point you'll realize that I can post any number of your little names here and everyone on this site can go leave you some one-star reviews for all your stuff on amazon.  I would like not to have to stoop to that, so just stop while you're ahead.  Really.  I just visited your author page at amazon and see there's lots of little things we could do for you to make you feel real good.  Really.  Stop now and stop for good.

Callie Ricky Boo just gave it a 10. They watch with me and totally adore the show.  I wonder how often they update votes. Both said my votes counted but the site still says the same 11 votes

Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

Ok, I'm off to get some rest.  Must get lots of work done over the next two days, then Wednesday night hopefully the snow will hold off long enough for me to go to Shrek the musical here in town.   If the snow and blowing have started, I won't go out, but it isn't really supposed to hit here until Thursday....when, no doubt, the flight I would have been on will be cancelled.
