All my life I wanted to live in a multi-story home. I still think it would be nice, but now realize that as I get older that might not be such a fun idea.Of course, now I live in a 7 story apartment building (where I live on the 4th floor)...but there is an elevator.

Yikes!! You'd think the owner would either fire the guy or make sure that he really knew what the heck his employees were doing.
Daylight savings, still light when I get home. Light enough to take a walk. And then poof, the 20 lbs will melt away again. Wishes, wishes, wishes.
And the word of the day is: BIBELOT!
Good morning! It's a snow day--all the schools, local and federal govenment offices in the DC area area closed. Where I live the snow is not quite covering the grass, but it's supposed to snow for a good part of the day.
We have a multi-story house, but live primarily on the ground floor and in the basement for laundry, exercise, and shelter from tornadoes. I'd like to slice off the top layer - 2 big rooms and a full bath - and make it our Manhattan apartment.

There are people on one side of me (the other side has been abandoned by the owner ), but I've never really heard any noise from either side (when people lived on both sides of me). At various times, I've asked my various neighbors if they've ever heard me (or my TV) and no one has said that they ever have. That's good...very good.
here's a great photo spread from the San Francisco Chronicle on celebrities and their pets. http://www.sfgate.com/entertainment/slideshow/Celebrity-pets-57835.phpAnd here's one of my favorites in the collection:
So some asshat tried to grab my son tonight. Grabbed him hard, told him to "Roll with it", Ethan tried to pull away the guy got a harder grip and tried to pull him off, my boy ended up punching the guy in the face and got his ass out of there. The guy was over 6 ft tall, white, but looked tan, thin but not scrawny, dark blonde hair, had a beard, he was and wearing a white track suit with black stripes down the arms and legs, wearing a green baseball cap. This was right around Garfield grade school. Keep your eyes open folks. Ethan is fine. But I would like to kick some serious ass.

Ethan and I have been in a few shows together, so I know him fairly well. He's a good kid and did the right thing. This is the first time that I've heard of something like this happening to someone I know...that's the real scary part.
