Same here, though I only know a few from the 1960s:  The Judge and the Assassin.  The Clockmaker.  I sort of remember seeing Spoiled Children.

Woops -- I mean the 1970s.

And I saw all of those at "Filmex".

We have a multi-story house, but live primarily on the ground floor and in the basement for laundry, exercise, and shelter from tornadoes.  I'd like to slice off the top layer - 2 big rooms and a full bath - and make it our Manhattan apartment.

All my life I wanted to live in a multi-story home.  I still think it would be nice, but now realize that as I get older that might not be such a fun idea.

Of course, now I live in a 7 story apartment building (where I live on the 4th floor)...but there is an elevator.

I have a three-story townhouse condo.  There are people on one side of me (the other side has been abandoned by the owner :-X), but I've never really heard any noise from either side (when people lived on both sides of me).  At various times, I've asked my various neighbors if they've ever heard me (or my TV) and no one has said that they ever have.  That's good...very good.

I love snow pictures as long as they're in someone else's view.  ;)

Yikes!!  You'd think the owner would either fire the guy or make sure that he really knew what the heck his employees were doing.

Keith never had the heart to complain about him because the guy is a really nice person which may be why he is still working for them.   I have a feeling he won't be for long.

Daylight savings, still light when I get home.   Light enough to take a walk.

And then poof, the 20 lbs will melt away again.   ;)

Wishes, wishes, wishes.   :)

Enjoy your walks.

Good morning!  It's a snow day--all the schools, local and federal govenment offices in the DC area area closed.  Where I live the snow is not quite covering the grass, but it's supposed to snow for a good part of the day.

First thing this morning I checked the website of the school Craig works out to see it was closed.  A little while ago I received a recorded message the building he lives in is without water due to emergency repairs.  I guess it is related to the storm.  I pressed the button to have myself removed from the calling list & then attempted to reach Craig to pass along the message, if he didn't already know he was without water.  All I got was his voice mail.

That was my favorite & I appreciate seeing another side to Brando as overall I'm not a fan.

I also liked the one of Bogart.  It seems to me of all the actor's more pets are named for him than any other.  I just might notice his name more since we had our cat named Bogie.

Home from Toyland. I found stamps so I didn't need to make a post office stop after all.  I am in for the rest of the evening, so I'll sit down wth my score for Act One and pick a few nits.

Yesterday, my friend Pug wrote this on Facebook:

Quote
So some asshat tried to grab my son tonight. Grabbed him hard, told him to "Roll with it", Ethan tried to pull away the guy got a harder grip and tried to pull him off, my boy ended up punching the guy in the face and got his ass out of there. The guy was over 6 ft tall, white, but looked tan, thin but not scrawny, dark blonde hair, had a beard, he was and wearing a white track suit with black stripes down the arms and legs, wearing a green baseball cap. This was right around Garfield grade school. Keep your eyes open folks. Ethan is fine. But I would like to kick some serious ass.

:o

As she wrote, her son Ethan is fine and he got a pretty good description...AND they called the cops.  Ethan and I have been in a few shows together, so I know him fairly well.  He's a good kid and did the right thing.

This is the first time that I've heard of something like this happening to someone I know...that's the real scary part.
