I ate my low-cal no-fat hot dog thing today - with the jog, I think that puts me under seven hundred calories, so I can have a little something later.

Kevin, do you know, yet, what day you will be flying to Israel?

:D

I will join Kevin for the concert and visit family & friends while I'm there.

Ah yes, wouldn't that be great.

I am curious, are these hot dogs beef?  Or chicken?  Or turkey?

I had some chicken and rice soup and an orange.  Later, some popcorn!

Wow, don't get too carried away there, Ginny.

LOL!  And I'm watching a C-Span discussion about Dolley Madison.

I had a terrific swim today.  I was very good about resting my shoulder when I should I never overtired it.  Taking the needed rests is easier when I have the single lane to myself or, as I did for the first 25 minutes, having half of a double lane to myself.

After an hour I really didn't want to get out so I treated myself to an extra 5 minutes.

I can't believe my swimming suit from last year is already falling apart & I don't even wear it every week.  When I got out of the pool my suit felt funny and I noticed it was bubbling, like it had been filled with air....very strange.

Great, I will have to try them.  Do they taste any different  from regular dogs?

Sounds like they use a lot of chlorine in that pool.

They don't.  They must use some but it is mostly saline.

I used to keep swim suits for years, not anymore.  I have a couple of nice ones that are holding up better but I'm thinking I don't want to wear them on a regular basis & should save them for traveling.

That reminds me.  I'm going to look online for the one I like that I got last summer & has held the shape better even though I have worn it twice as much.

I'm looking forward to her rendition of "The Way we wore our yarmulkes"  and "Haifa can you hear me" followed by "Jerusalem of Butter"

And of course the special version of "Guilty" for the Jewish mother  crowd:  "We've got plenty to be guilty of"

and "You Don't Bring Me Flour Any more" for Jewish cooking

I'm very excited to see Jimmy Webb tonight. I've never seen him perform before and it's a new venue for me, about 35 minutes out of town. A musician friend drove up from Orlando for the concert and we took him out for dinner last night. He's a huge music fan so I'll be able to introduce him to another one of my music fan-friends, who is going in Greg's place. I love getting people together to talk music!

I visited an artist friend today who was playing Jimmy Webb while he painted.  What a coincidence

Speaking of Dance Clips, here's a great one from Lullaby of Broadway, the Doris Day, Gene Nelson Warner Brothers musical from 1951. She and Gene are in the Producer's office and do a great tap routine to

Somebody Loves Me

The movie is a lot of fun. It was a random library find and we watched it tonight.
