Just as I was walking up to the pool to swim today, to my joy the woman in the single lane got out.
I jumped in, cautious of my hip which did fine. Those first strokes in the pool with the feel of the water against me as I swim is always a treat, something I anticipate with a bit of excitement.

I suppose it was silly of me to expect my body to respond as it normally does. As soon as I began kicking, which of course was immediately, I felt a stab of pain in my hip & great disappointment in my heart.

I swam more slowly and adjusted the way I kicked which helped some. I also did the breaststroke more as the frog kick didn't hurt nearly as much.

DR Jane

My right shoulder has still been hurting. It doesn't really bother me. But i wake up every morning in pain. I think it's because i sleep on it. And to get out of a waterbed you have to put a lot pressure on your shoulders.

So of course today my niece smacks me as hard as she can right in my right shoulder.

They were giving 100g free lindt easter bunnies today. We ended up with 6 (i only got my one).

It's still got another two hours to go so she won't be there when it finishes. I asked her to call apple to see if its just automatically on when its finished. Haven't heard back about that but hopefully if there's anything I need to do there will be instructions

Ouch. This may be an obvious question but can you roll over in a different direction to get out of bed? I'm guessing you can't help what you do in your sleep.

Watching "Cairo: Nest of Spies," the first spoof of James Bond that the folks behind "The Artist" did.

I think I enjoyed the second film better, but it has its moments.

On my Nook I have "The Tragedy of the Korosko" by Arthur Conan Doyle. From now on I'm sticking with his Sherlock Holmes books. I can't finish this.

Not sure what I will read tonight while I wait for Keith to pass me his iPad so I can get back to "Freshwater Road" by Denise Nicholas of "Room 222".

Denise and her main character have a lot in common, on the surface anyway.
