Well, you've read the notes, the notes were back home, and now it is time for you to post until the back home cows come home.

Good morning, all.

We're playing bells outdoors this morning during Palm Sunday services. So, I'm up early again. Hope I can stay awake.

Have to schlep some 20 miles to the high school tomorrow morning at dawn's crack, for a day of rehearsals.  Naturally, the Professional Weather Guessers are calling for the possibility of some snow or other unpleasant precipitation from this eastward moving storm ... sometime through the day, could be early, could be late.  It couldn't have come today or Tuesday or any other day.  No, sir.  It gets here on the one day I must be out and about.  It's only supposed to be an inch or so of slushy stuff, but things could shift a little and it could then be a few inches of solid snow.  Help!  I can't take it any more!  Get me out of here!

I'm trying to sleep in my back more or on my other shoulder. I don't know any other way to get out of bed that doesn't put pressure on my shoulder. :(

Good morning, all!

I've had three days of running hither and yon about Manhattan, and I am exhausted. I plan to stay close to home for the day and do very little. I must do laundry ASAP and then I plan to read more of the Austen bio, watch a DVD or two, and relax.

Snow has begun.....and stopped....and begun again....and stopped.  More later - they say.

So glad to hear that MR BK arrived home safely and that the Computer is being revived.

DR FJL thanks for the other link....so entertaining....  And the story is an inspiration!

DR CP should see Hello, Dolly! at once - after all it IS based on Thornton Wilder's THE MATCHMAKER, which is a terrific play on its own.

DR DRUXY - thanks for your comment on Ms. Natalie Trundy.  I was kind of hoping the story wasn't true....but there you are.  I liked reading about Arthur P. Jacobs in the book THE STUDIO that had a couple of chapters about his production of DR DOLITTLE and how that all went down.

Good Palm Sunday morning to all!  I just wanted to share that I went to Exceptional Granite, Tile and Marble in Clearwater yesterday to pick out my new Granite countertops! I met Cliff who was very nice.

I took a floor tile and a paper with my kitchen paint color with me so we could put them against the granite to make sure the colors would work. With Cliffs help, I picked a beautiful slab that reminded me of a tigers stripes. Cliff said it would make my tiny kitchen look bigger. It has whites, black/grey, tans/creams, light browns and what looks like sparkles in it. It's called Juperana Granite.

They gave me several samples of other colors to lay in the kitchen and look at when I got home but my eye always went back to the Juperana. I didn't want to much white because the floor is a cream/tan/gray/white mix and the cabinets will be pure white.

I also heard from Sergio ( Same name different person from the other Sergio) who said he will be delivering the cabinets on April 1st and will do the demo/install of the cabinets over April 4/5! I am sooo excited and I can't thank everyone enough for all of their kindness in helping me with my kitchen.

I still need your vibes for the washer/drier shed/room to come true. Once that happens I will have a perfect little home.  ;)

Went to see my cousin Ross do his stand-up at a comedy club last night.  Usually, we get seats very close-up, because his mom thinks wer'e better for him when we're sitting close and he sees and hears us laughing (I think that's the logic) but last night we were a big party (9 people) so we had to sit further back if we wanted  our whole party to stay together.

What's in part fascinating is that from further back, because of other people's heads in the way, you start watching the live feeds (like at a real concert or event!) a little on the simultaneous TV sets around the large-ish room for all the comedians/.  the Tv's are just there, you can't help it sometimes.   So it felt more like a REAL event. Fun to really see the whole room laughing for him, which you don;t see when you're up close,a s his Mom always had liked us to be in the past!

But what's weird is how many people leave after THEIR friend is on, meaning teh peopel toward teh end of the ste get short shrift.  I'd almost decide of I wound up in the last five or six to say no thanks, i won't go on, I'm starting off with a disadvantage of half the room being mpty.

I love Cousin Ross' new comedy-act tag line:  (not in his real life, but he uses it for his act)

"Why do girls hate me, it's got to be the god damn economy!"

You could move to Florida but we get cold here too.

I love your "Professional Weather Guessers" comment.  I have often said I missed out on the best job on the planet.  All you have to say it that it "might" happen.  We "might" have snow today.  Mind you I didn't say we will, I said "might".  We "might" have rain" at the end of week.  It doesn't happen, then again I didn't say it "would" rain, I said it "might".  And if it does---then hey, I was RIGHT!!!!!  What a great job!

I stayed at the George Hotel for two nights two years ago.
The George was just a tiny walk from Union Station (really nice hotel and so economical, I could not believe it - and when I tried to get the same deal again for another trip, the computer seemed almost to giggle at me.
