Ouch.  This may be an obvious question but can you roll over in a different direction to get out of bed?  I'm guessing you can't help what you do in your sleep.

I'm trying to sleep in my back more or on my other shoulder. I don't know any other way to get out of bed that doesn't put pressure on my shoulder. :(

I have to roll on my hip to get out of bed.

Wow, you got it in one!  That is the very color but the slab that I saw had like stripes of the different colors.  The first thing I thought was it looked like a tiger.

I'm a bit sorry at some of the things I will have to give up.  The book shelves were built by my Dad but I just don't have any place to put them.  I had hoped that they would build the place for the W/D first and I could have put a least one of them there.

I think I'll have to get rid of the kitchen table I have now too.  My Mom loved that table--it's butcher block but I would rather have them go to the GoodWill and help someone else then see them go to the dump.

It is always hard letting go of those special things but the memories will stay with you.

KITCHEN & WASHER AND DRYER VIBES!!!!
I'm hoping they don't give up on the W/D.  I just keep thinking how wonderful it would be to be able to bake or cook in my new kitchen while the wash is in progress.  Think of how much time I wouldn't  have to spend in the laundry matt!

I'm up - got up at ten after a really nice night's sleep - feeling pretty damn good this morning, mostly due to breathing easy about the big boy computer.  I did spend thirty minutes on the phone with a nice Apple Man, and he said I should have been told about Word having to relaunch, and all the other little things it had to do - but everything is working perfectly now and he even found the problem on the laptop with the Mail program, so that's fine now, too.  I will say, Time Machine is doing backups much more frequently than normal, but he said that would happen for a while, until it all settles in.  In fact, several things that were problematic last night were fine this morning - has to do with synching and other things.

Great news.  I can imagine your relief.
It's always scary getting a new computer.  You never know if it will update or not.  I'm still on my first Apple so I haven't had to do that yet but I know what a headache it was with a PC.  I will never go back!

Good Palm Sunday morning to all!  I just wanted to share that I went to Exceptional Granite, Tile and Marble in Clearwater yesterday to pick out my new Granite countertops! I met Cliff who was very nice.

I took a floor tile and a paper with my kitchen paint color with me so we could put them against the granite to make sure the colors would work. With Cliffs help, I picked a beautiful slab that reminded me of a tigers stripes. Cliff said it would make my tiny kitchen look bigger. It has whites, black/grey, tans/creams, light browns and what looks like sparkles in it. It's called Juperana Granite.

They gave me several samples of other colors to lay in the kitchen and look at when I got home but my eye always went back to the Juperana. I didn't want to much white because the floor is a cream/tan/gray/white mix and the cabinets will be pure white.

I also heard from Sergio ( Same name different person from the other Sergio) who said he will be delivering the cabinets on April 1st and will do the demo/install of the cabinets over April 4/5! I am sooo excited and I can't thank everyone enough for all of their kindness in helping me with my kitchen.

I still need your vibes for the washer/drier shed/room to come true. Once that happens I will have a perfect little home.  ;)

Danise, I am just sorry it took us all so long to get angry enough to send e-mails and posts.  It would so terrific if everything would be completed for you.  Continued vibes for the washer / dryer room.

Oh, by the way, once your little house is completed, you will be hosting the first-ever national HHW Get-together,so we can all see the results!

The laundry is finished and put away. I've made a date with goddaughter Charlotte to see Jack the Giant Killer on Tuesday night.

Beyond that, I am having a wonderfully lazy day and suffering no guilt for doing so. Tomorrow, back to the grind.

DR Elmore, some of JACK THE GIANT KILLER was filmed at Norwich Cathedral, where Richard and I spent a week in January.

DR TCB I would love to have seen Pearl Bailey.

It was wonderful.  And the cast included Cab Calloway (who I had never appreicated until then), his daughter Chris Calloway, Mabel King, and Morgan Freeman as Rudolph, the head waiter.

Been going non-stop today, it seems. Met friends for dim sum after church, then headed home to make a tart for tonight's pig roast.

The roast will be outdoors, which hasn't exactly been receptive today. We've got a nasty cold wind that keeps whipping up. In fact, it was colder when we played during second service at about 11 a.m. than it was when we played the 8 a.m. service.

Supposed to get down to around freezing tonight and tomorrow night before warming up.

Anthony's off to Tap Class and I'm listening to the end of String of Pearls on BBC Radio Wales.

It looks like my review of the recently closed Mystery of Edwin Drood will be on the show this afternoon. I got a tweet about it.

You can listen live right now (for two hours). I'll be about 35 minutes into the show, right after Sierra Boggess and Julian Ovenden sing People Will Say We're in Love from Oklahoma. She'll talk about Chita Rivera and then play my segment. The show is on from 5-7 EST.

BBC Radio Wales Listen Live

I'll be sending out the usual e-mail after I get the correct link and the timing.

Oh what a wonderful Palm Sunday, oh what a beautiful day.  I have a beautiful feeling, there's more Palm Sunday coming my way.  1 mass yesterday, 3 this morning and 1 tonight. And I STILL don't make the big bucks.

That's all I have for the moment.

Sure, that is fine for now; but the the first time you try to prepare roast tiger at home, it will totally disappear on your counter top.
