I haven't begun reading yet. I'm really at the point in the first book where I want to know how it ends.

I generally have four or five books going at once, not to mention one in the car. It's gotten worse since starting school, because reading has become something I do for research, not enjoyment.

That said, I've been reading "The Book of Gin" for two months now. And I haven't gotten to the first recipe yet.

With all of the other celebrity deaths listed lately on HHW, I should add that Bob Hover aka Linc Foster, passed away.

He did a few small roles in films and some better roles in television (did a really good one on CHEYENNE and was on a couple of soaps right up until the 1980s).

He was a Marine turned model turned actor and was most recently living in Sarasota, Florida. I had planned on interviewing him one of these days, but never got around to contacting him

We don't cut flowers from our garden. To us the garden is where they belong. While I was napping, instead of reading, Keith woke me up when he placed a vase of white daffodils with yellow centers next to me. They were in an ares where we don't really notice them. This is a real treat for me.

What a fascinating day this has been. In addition to all the stuff this morning, we've been told that five more reels have been found for our next release. It was ready to go to the pressing plant this morning, but I stopped it when I found we'd be able to include a minute-and-a-half cue that was missing from the previous release. I'm keeping fingers crossed that these other reels might improve the sound (it's mono and fine as it is, but if we were to have a closer generation tape amongst these, then that would be fantastic). I've been dealing with that for most of the afternoon, as well as having a turkey sandwich with no fries or onion rings and picking up a bunch of fun packages, including a VERY rare original script from Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch - kind of a Peckinpah Holy Grail that has a direct connection to the film, since the person whose script this was was an uncredited assistant to Peckinpah. I made a very could trade deal and came out way, WAY ahead in terms of value.

I have always maintained that had Ms. Streisand allowed them to put her in a fat suit, and allowed them to age her up 15 to 20 years with her make-up; she could have easily scored a second Oscar nomination. And she could have shown herself to be an actress.

That's the funny thing - I haven;t been top the Dr or had any insurance issues recently - since my last PET Scan came back "All Clear" in January I have been one happy camper and I am jiggy with that -

I was so fully dedicated to telling this woman off in my dream that I was actually out of bed Standing a up and yelling at her when I woke up - maybe I wasn't actually yelling ' cause I didn't wake anybody up - but I was definitely talking out loud
