Now, off to start taxes.

I've got to get serious about taxes too!

I already got serious, I just don't want to send the check.

DR FJL I think it is wonderful you are enjoying your parent's so much.  You are lucky to have this experience with them.

I would give anything to have my mother back.

I've been really out of sorts and wasn't sure I wanted to say anything about it, but it's looking so definite that I'll say it here.   Gabe's mom has a boyfriend.  So she has asked my nephew for a divorce.   I tried to be big about it and stay her friend on FB, since we've done so many things together in the past etc, but it's broken my heart and I just can't do it.

I am so sorry Cilla -  I know these things are very hard to bear -  we had a similar instance in our family  many years ago --   it is very difficult to lose a family member like this-   VIBES of comfort to you and yours

Totally understandable, Cilla, at least for now.  You can always see how you feel down the line.  I am so sorry.

Fred, I'm so sorry you're going through all this. At least you have Skip and a supportive family. People can be so cruel!

Hey, what about my friends, don;t forget my friends.  or do you know something?   :)

well your friends are really  like extended family,  ain't we?  :)

I would feel the same way you do.  I am only thinking that since she is Gabe's mother you don't want to alienate her.  You also have that "hide" option in case you want to spy on her for any reason ;)

Already did my spying :)

Hello!  I picked up my blu-ray of Hello, Dolly!  from UPS and am watching it now.  I can't get over how vibrant the colors are!  Not to mention the spectacular singing by the leading lady.

Who is in that movie?

There's  a movie of Hello Dolly!?  Do the actors sing  "live"?

Of course your friends, too! I never had much support from my family, so I see that as something to really cherish. I didn't mean to overlook your friends.

As far as I'm concerned, the people of HHW are as much my family as the blood relatives.

Thanks everyone.  I've gone from feeling adult about the whole situation when I found out on Easter to being pretty ticked off at the moment.  I was going to try to stay friends, but the things I saw on FB just made me mad or hurt my feelings.  I've chosen to unfriend so I'm not tempted to say what I think.

Back from a fun night in the Hill Country with some friends. We went for dinner at a place that's fairly open air and just enjoyed sitting around and talking over some great food while the sun set. Then we had dessert at another place in the tiny town. It was all good. But I'm tired.

Home from a long day concluding with a production of "The Blue Man Group".... what an amazing show and quite the technological wonder.  I'm so glad I finally saw it.

Now to bed.

Tomorrow, a production of John and Jen which I'm sorta not looking forward to, but I'm making myself go as I know it will be good.

Back from the STAGE benefit show - clocked in at three hours and forty minutes.  That did include intermission and an endless live auction, but still a good thirty minutes too long.
