And looking back, I think I see who we can blame.  Oh yes, there must always be someone to blame in these matters.

It's DR vixmom!      :)

Copying/pasting long URLs does it.  Maybe it wouldn't, if you manually broke the lines up?  That is so weird!!

I feel like I've been through a li'l Rite of Passage.

moi?

I have no idea what you could possibly be talking about.....:)

From DR Vixmom:
Quote
While she was away form the table exploring the club I arrange for the waitress to surprise her after lunch with this

Oh my!  The stunned expression was great :)

She really was surprised because it was 2 weeks early  for her birthday  and also she was convinced the flare was going to explode at some  point!  :)

This particular school specializes in reaching music and theatre.  Except for the young woman who played the villian (producer of dance show) everyone was very good. She wasn't BAD just ... adequate....

This was the same school where we so enjoyed Ragtime last fall-  we really need to make more of an effort to see when they are having shows   It was an very enjoyable  show and it only cost $15 a ticket

DR Jennifer I am far from the only one at my pool who swims as therapy for their shoulder.  You might need to slow down and do more of the breast stroke.  I suggest you consider this.  Look up suggestions for pool exercises for your shoulder.
I have swam before when I had a sore shoulder and it was quite difficult. It hurt to swim front crawl. I was able to swim breast stroke but I do not recall it making my shoulder feel better.

My business partner, Bonnie, and me at brunch this morning. I'm not entirely thrilled with the hair cut I got this week.

I'm afraid the cinemascope on that picture was because it was taken after most of the brunch.

One sample from the brunch: Prosciutto over honeydew melon soaked in St. Germain elderflower liqueur.

I don't know what any of these words mean but I want to eat this --- NOW

But my stomach  mostly yearns for the aforementioned  duck confit

DR TCB did you find The Beav's friends to be of better quality than Wally's? ;D

No, I just figured I would make a much better friend for Wally.  Best friends.  Only friends.  Sleep-over friends.

Just finished watching Barbara Cook's Mostly Sondheim DVD while getting something for the website done. What a wonderful capturing of a performer at a great moment in her career.

She makes me like the music from "Passion" more than I do when I hear the CD from the show.

Her simplicity and direct approach to the material, the way she trusts it, all make it sing honest and true.

The only singer at the cabaret I went to last night who failed to do her job was someone who sang "Come Rain or Come Shine" as if it were a Celine Dion song that was loaded with "Hey, look at me" shrieks and overemotional vocal gestures. The woman didn't trust the beauty of the song, and she blew it.
