I didn't get to bed until three. Woke up at eight-thirty, went back to bed, woke up at eleven and have been catching up ever since. I decided to finish the Martyn Bedford book, Flip, last night. It's very enjoyable. First fiction book I've read since I began writing fiction. I'd sent the author the first two Kritzer books - he loved the first one and we used a blurb from him on Kritzerland regarding the first book. We corresponded for a while but I had no idea if he liked the second book or not, and then it was off my radar about even sending the third book, although I may have.
But I have to say, there were a few short times in Flip where I thought there was a little Kritzer going on, and especially in the book's final paragraph, which seems mighty inspired by the ending of Kritzerland - it worked there and it works here
