Just back from the vet and waiting for the verdict.
I ended up transferring to the new vet. 20 blocks away instead of 10 miles. He's associated with my other vet, so I didn't really leave her, just making his office my home office.
When I went home to get Callie she had made a big mess in the litter box, if you get my drift. So she definitely isn't "full of it" as is her normal problem. We are taking her off the lactulose for a couple days, giving her something different that will hopefully calm her stomach and get her eating again. Once she's eating and keeping things down on both ends, we'll slowly go back to the lactulose or he may want to try some other things. I told him I don't want to fix what isn't broken and he agrees. If she's not better by Friday, we'll probably do blood tests. Definitely by Monday. He just wants to slow down and make sure she isn't reacting to the meds etc. I'm fine with that approach
I heard about the verdict on the way home. If my 3:00 comes, I'll likely be in an appointment, but I'll get the replay. When we walked in the door she went straight to the food dish. I think that was more nerves than being hungry, she didn't eat much before heading out of the kitchen.
