Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both more and merrier, and now it is time for you to post until the merrier cows come home.

Good morning, all! On some mornings, 6:30 comes too soon, but I had another round of doozies for dreams: a nightmare set in an old house involving created humans, one of whom was not behaving well; an endless dream involving Tolstoy, Chekhov and some sexual scandal involving Vronsky and Vershinin; and life at The Drama Book Shop, inventory cards, and Shakespeare plays.  I was glad gto get out of bed.

I am off to Toyland. I have to wait for a Fed Ex delivery.

While I'm there, I will go through the ROBERTA vocal score - again - because I gace a cppy to Bruce Pomahac and he sent me two pages of questions about possible wrong notes. Our proofreader missed several lyric and melodic errors, I missed some on my final edit, and I need to check Bruce'squestions aganst the original published score, the Bennett full scores, and the last edit full scores. The notes must be corrected before we print the orchestra parts. and this is why I am still frustrated over my team's inability to meet my desired March 1 deadline to finish the score.

When I get home I must.

Clean my car for a maintenance service tomorrow (I somehow think they do a better job if the car is clean, people think I'm nuts to feel that way).

Take my daily walk. (while I get ready for work).

Read the new book.

I tried to start a monthly, let's get together for dinner and live music, with the group I hang out with.

It was good (although no one seems to care about listening to music) the first 2 times.

Now it morphed into a Tuesday evening, no music, but I send the email info and I can't even be there.

Oh well.

I think I'm butt hurt.

Oh well.

2 Tuesdays from now, I'm back to going by myself.

Music, dinner, and me on Main Street.

The boyfriend is out of town during the week.  Only get to see him on the weekends, and only get to do things with him on the weekends his kids are not home.

Which is a good thing.  I'm starting to feel like myself again.  I really missed doing the things that keep me happy.   Walking, doing stuff I have not done before, listening to live music, seeing new things.

Like a lecture Wednesday night, Tearing the Fabric: Exploring and Predicting Elevated Vertebrate Road Kill from Ventura County to Louisiana to the Middle East.

How's that for my local library  ;D ;D.

DR VIXMOM always glad to help.

I used my TAILGATER at my brother in law's outdoor memorial, and it was terrific.  That's only the first time I've used it, but I am glad to have mine, as well!

Good morning, all.

I, too, historically, am a wild and crazy dreamer like DR Elmore, and for a few years I kept a dream journal, taking special care to describe the extraordinary ones thoroughly enough that another person could sort of imagine them, and so that I could remember them when reading them after some time has passed.  (I'd discovered when reading a few of them that even the detailed descriptions didn't bring them back for me.  ME!)  But that takes extraordinary time and effort and I eventually abandoned it.  Still have those journals, though.

I have several major dream themes that reappear and get replayed frequently in various settings.  It's a fascinating thing, really.

Now what the hell am I talking about?  Where am I?

Oh!  At home, following a blessedly decent sleep in my blessedly very own bed.  How wonderful a thing that is.

Coffee!

This is a "me" day, for sure -- let no one attempt to declare otherwise -- which shall be dedicated to reading the BOOK.

I recall reading that Bogart was originally set for the Cooper role.
