Good morning, all! On some mornings, 6:30 comes too soon, but I had another round of doozies for dreams: a nightmare set in an old house involving created humans, one of whom was not behaving well; an endless dream involving Tolstoy, Chekhov and some sexual scandal involving Vronsky and Vershinin; and life at The Drama Book Shop, inventory cards, and Shakespeare plays. I was glad gto get out of bed.
I am off to Toyland. I have to wait for a Fed Ex delivery.
While I'm there, I will go through the ROBERTA vocal score - again - because I gace a cppy to Bruce Pomahac and he sent me two pages of questions about possible wrong notes. Our proofreader missed several lyric and melodic errors, I missed some on my final edit, and I need to check Bruce'squestions aganst the original published score, the Bennett full scores, and the last edit full scores. The notes must be corrected before we print the orchestra parts. and this is why I am still frustrated over my team's inability to meet my desired March 1 deadline to finish the score.
