Well, you've read the notes, the notes spoke of the book signing, and now it is time for you to post until the booked cows come home.

From yesterday....yes, DR ChasSmith---that KrispyKreme in your photo is practically across the street from where I live.  I never go there.  I have a doughnut once every couple of years.

We had, for one brief shining moment, a Kripsy Kreme that was   reasonably nearby and  on my way to work - I used to stop in  and watch them make the donuts and then get a hot glazed donut- nothing so good as a fresh made hot  doughnut it just melted in your mouth -  it great ruined me for plain old cold donuts off the shelf

Kevin H if I lived across form a Krispy Kreme  I would weight 500  lbs

so far thios morning I have  mopped up more water from the basement, emptied the dehumidifier, folded a stack of towels, put a load of towels in the dryer, started a new load of towels, place a bunch of fresh towels in strategic places to make 'dams', and ironed the altar linens.  I shall now get me a shower, dress, go to church to set up the chapel and sanctuary, go to the dentist , go get my mother to take her car shopping and then maybe  just maybe I can start thinking about cleaning this here house.

The 24 hours of heavy rains have stopped in the NYC area. It is sunny, cool, and breezy! Perhaps DR Vixmom's house will not float away, after all. And the morning dog walk is so much more pleasant when it is not raining.

DR Jane, what a beautiful sunset. You are so fortunate to have such a lovely view right from your home! I would never tire of it. Thanks for sharing!

And while I love a loopy DR TCB as much as the next person,  I do hope that he is felling 100% better today.

TOD:

Leslie Caron:  LILI & PROMISE HER ANYTHING

Cary Grant: The Awful Truth, Mr Blandings Builds His Dream House, His Girl Friday, My Favorite Wife, The Bishop's Wife, North By Northwest, Notorious, Charade.....all mentioned already....so I will add MONKEY BUSINESS....."Miss Laurel was just showing me her acetates...."

One of my favorites from Mr. Blandings is a telephone call:

"What?  Yes.  We can't move in 30 days.  No. No. I have a lease.  It's impossible.  No. You will be hearing from my lawyer. No. No."

"What is it, dear?"

"We're moving in 30 days."

Very busy Saturday today.  Just ... stuff.  But lots of it.

Coffee is a Dunkin' Donuts K-cup.  I splurged.

Saturday morning greetings!  I have a haircut scheduled for this afternoon, but I'd rather be going to BK's book signing...

My nephew, who plays French horn, found that funny, too. He posted it on Facebook. And, well, it is funny.

You've opened up a can of worms, DR singdaw.  Now he's going to have to proof these bars in the full score, vocal score, and all the parts.
