Back at work today after one day off during which I had dental surgery (two implants). It was a three-hour procedure. I'm a hard case when it comes to anesthesia and the doctor had to stop and administer four doses over the course of those three hours. Meanwhile, Ibuprofen has taken care of all possible discomfort from the surgery. No swelling, either.

Yes, I've been hearing all about Saving Mr. Banks for about a year now. In November, we're doing our first Encore Kritzerland show, the Sherman Brothers, in honor of the film's release. Richard will be with us for that evening.

I am seeing a lot about Orson Scott Card in the news. Has anyone read any of his sci-fi "Ender's Game" novels? I don't know anything about them.

Congrats, but I'm sure that there's someone who has already transferred the expanded laserdisc to DVD. It's standard DVD, but it's already done.
