I keep forgetting to mention that I, also, will be seeing the IMAX 3-D "The Wizard of Oz" tomorrow afternoon.  I'm taking the day off.  Showtime is 4:45 p.m. in nearby Emeryville.

Which reminds me...DR Elmore, did you get the DVD that I sent to you of that old 1930 movie musical (which I forget the name of, but really enjoyed) that you had requested a copy of?

Mikey, I did! It's somewhere on this table. My memory is that it had arrived when I was in Dublin, and it got lost in the shuffle of my lousy health. Thank you!

Happy to say that Christiane Noll will be joining our And the World Goes Round recording cast.  Couldn't be happier that the timing worked.  She was the first person I thought of for the Karen Mason track and her voice will be perfect for it.

And RYacko will be coming back to Kritzerland for our holiday show.

Had a ham and Swiss to tide me over to dinner.  Now for some banking and then a jog, then I'll start the commentary.

George I thought the bowl was blue until you mentioned the boa was in it-lol

There are all sorts of things you can do with it.  You can put pretty colored stones in the bottom and float flowers in it.  You can use it to serve food or you can fill it with your favorite key chains.

Happy birthday, Larry. And many blessings for the coming year.

Thanks, DR JohnG!

And I am back from physical therapy. I was not able to lie on my stomach this morning, so I've had a regression. Dammit!

I'm sorry but please don't let it get you down.  Regressions are part of healing and PT.  What was done once WILL be done again.  Next time try not to be stressed that you can't do it again.  It is important to take a deep breath, let is out and RELAX.

For some reason I cannot get HHW to work on my kindle. It still says "not available" "website coming soon" (or something like that). I tried everything. :(

Sadsack, you should save such horrors for Halloween.

 :D   Creepy, no?

I still haven't decided which was sillier, grown men riding earthworms in "Dune" or grown people boring me as cats.

Funny.
Riding those earthworms worked in the novel.

Not to be too personal around here, but I did have the best date ever last night.  It's nice beginning an ADULT relationship with an ADULT without judgement or drama.

That's great.  You are obviously very ready to move on.

I don't have the patience for it, but there is an online color acuity test here:
http://www.xrite.com/custom_page.aspx?pageid=77&lang=en

On the scale of 0 (best) to 99 (worst), I scored 12, and I was well aware while taking it that there were a couple of difficult areas.

I took one look at the test and blacked out. I do not have the patience at the moment.

The postman delivered three birthday cards: one from DR Ginny, one from DR Jane, and one from my cousin. I liked them all, and all seemed quite apt for the sender!

:)

The most exciting part of my day so far, other than wishing DR elmore3003 a happy birthday, was ordering new socks and underwear online.
