It was ninety degrees at nine-thirty when I did the jog - and it must have been close to 100 today - not normal and really kind of sickening.

The only other food I've had today besides the chicken tenders is four tiny vegetable egg roll things from Gelson's, some grapes and some melon balls. And that's that. I did buy a lot of different kinds of liquid refreshment, just for a change of pace - some diet Dr. Brown's cream soda, some diet lemonade concoction and some 0 calorie drinks - black raspberry and root beer. I've never heard of any of the labels so we'll just have to see if they're fun or not.

I received a call early this morning from a new Altar Guild member who had been given my name for assistance in setting up the main sanctuary and the chapel for communion ( I live closest to the church of all the altar guild members so I agree to be stand by if help was needed

Watching a very taut drama called "14 Hours." It was packaged as Fox Film Noir, but it's not noir. Not by a long shot. But great performances, especially from Agnes Moorehead as a drama queen of a mother. Richard Basehart, Barbara Bel Geddes, a young Grace Kelly and plenty of folks who ended up doing TV commercials.

also two lovely cookie trays chocolate chip, macadamia nut, oatmeal raisin and white chocolate chip

Got the new Glen Campbell CD from the library today. "See You There." It's largely his greatest hits done in different tempos and interpretations. Good stuff. On some songs, he sounds like his old self. At other times, he just sounds old. But it's all effective, which makes his alzheimer's all the sadder.
