Good morning, all! I slept restlessly so I slept in this morning. I am bathed, dressed, and on my first cup of coffee, listening to several Bach cantatas for my Sunday devotions.
My calendar today is quite empty: make the bed, burn CDs for a friend, listen to the CDs of DEAREST ENEMY and the 1970s London SHOW BOAT with Cleo Laine, watch the DVD that DR Ben and Anthony brought me.
DR Ben, I am pushing you right out of the photo! I still look like all those 16 lbs went right to my chin! I haven't had a haircut since a day or two before my affliction on Aug. 7. It doesn't look dreadful in the photo, but it sure feels too long to me.
DR TCB, the spare page in the DEAREST ENEMY booklet should be the show's copyright information. And I agree with you about DEATH OF A SALESMAN, a play I dislike very much. To me Miller's only good play, and it's quite brilliant, is THE CRUCIBLE.
The Pepperidge Farm pumpkin-cheesecake cookies are so-s0. I'd prefer pumpkin-walnut or pumpkin-pecan cookies with a lot of spice and maybe some raisins. The cheesecake seems to me more an obstacle than a fortuitous discovery decision.
DR Jane, Jackson has informed me that he submitted his request to join the group.
