BK, are you using their song from Sweet November? I don't remember the melody, but I remember Newley reciting the lyrics to Sandy Dennis. Sweet scene in the movie.

Not at the moment and I'm not sure he wrote the music - wasn't it Michel Legrand?

Wikipedia, the most reliable resource on the planet, says it was a Newley/Bricusse song.

T.O.D.

Andre Watts (the only concert I sever saw at the Hollywood Bowl)
Roger Williams (Met him.  A very nice man)
Peter Nero
Ferrante & Teicher
Oscar Petterson - I have to include Oscar because the niece of one of my oldest and dearest friends is Oscar's widow.  And yes, she was much younger.

Here's a photo of my friend Orfhlaith's wedding gown. I'm still waiting for ne of her and Jonathan in full regalia.

DR upperco, if I'd known you were going to download the CD, I would have suggested you not!

Beautiful.

Our stage manager just told me that Kimya Dawson, who wrote the songs for "Juno," is in the audience with her daughter!  I didn't know that Kimya lives here in Olympia and comes to all the Olympia Family Theater shows!  That's pretty darned cool!

And I just found out that Zuzu (Karolyn Grimes) from IT'S A WONDERFUL LIFE lives here in the Pacific Northwest.  I originally wrote the town she lives in, but thought better of it.

Of course I really should be doing errands and chores...grocery shopping and laundry, to be exact. Oh well.

For the last several days, I've kept thinking that I need to go to Fred Meyer to get something, but I absolutely cannot think of what I might've needed.  I hate it when that happens. :P

Maybe you were thinking of stocking up on groceries before the strike Monday evening.

Act two has started and we figure that probably another dozen people (kids and parents) have left.  Oh, well...they paid their money and there are no refunds.

;)

Well, if they bought the house. there wouldn't be any individual refunds anyway.

Great photos, TCB. Did you have as much fun in the role as it looks like you're having?

It was a blast!

My eyes are crossing from trying to figure out this damn show.  I went through my two act list and figured out how many songs each person had and it didn't add up evenly so now it's trying to figure out how to even it up.

What a good looking Scrooge!

Tom, love the pictures!  I'm glad it all worked!

Is the strike for sure?  I went today after the show and just walked around, hoping that something would jog my memory and it worked!  I wanted caffeine-free diet Pepsi.
