Probably for the same reasons I stated above. They became predictable. Red was an important color in The Sixth Sense. It was purple in Unbreakable. I forgot the main color in signs. But we expected his films to have twists so we were prepared for them. We watched for his signature stylings so his films no longer became enjoyable. I for one don't want to see a film knowing it has a twist. It ruins it for you because you are trying to figure out what it is instead of enjoying the film.

I agree with you DR George. I had been told there was a huge twist, but I tried to just put it aside and I was surprised. I hate it when people tell me either that there is a twist or what it is. I love to be surprised. I think that's part of the reason I like to ether try to see a movie shortly after it's released or long after the buzz has settled and I don't remember what was said about it

From the multipart article Where M Knight Shyamalan Went Wrong. In the following quote that summed up the part on Unbreakable it sums up what I feel is wrong with his films post The Sixth Sense, They also discuss The Village, The Happening, The Last Airbender

As solid a film as Unbreakable is, it also wound up poisoning Shyamalan’s career. Ending both of his first two directorial efforts with a big reveal resulted in audiences seeing him as “that guy who finishes his movies with a twist” – a nickname that would grow more and more sour with titles like Signs, The Village, and The Happening. Why didn’t Shyamalan just end the film with David revealing his real identity to his son? What would have happened to Shyamalan’s career if he had? Everything could have been different.

I need to move all my iTunes files. I have a 148GB "C" drive and there's only 3GB left! My iTunes and other downloaded files (such as my Digital Theatre movies) are about 78GB of that. I just found a page on iTune's website that explains how to move your library. I'll do that to free up all that space. I have a 1TB external hard drive and a 2TB drive. I am moving all the stuff on the 1TB drive to the 2TB drive and make the 1TB drive dedicated to iTunes and Digital Theatre. It's going to take several days to transfer all the files because there are a LOT of them.

Sunday afternoon greetings! It was dark, cold, and foggy when we left for Lima this morning. We stopped for lunch at Culver's and Richard slept while I drove home from there. I slept for a couple of hours when we got home and now I'm ready to chat.
