Babs sent me her combination CD / DVD "Back To Brooklyn" to me.  It arrived today.

Oh wait, maybe I ordered it myself.  Well, it is the thought that counts.

I think you'll enjoy it, TCB!   Look for my friend Michael from Greece during Happy Days Are Here Again.  There's a closeup of him with tears down his face and then of him singing along with Barbra.  And my friend Robin is at the very very end holding up her sign "Thank You Barbra, We (Heart) You!'

Richard gave me the DVD/CD set for Christmas - I'll have to watch for your friends!

Havin' a hard time staying awake.  I should have had a cappuccino after dinner!

I'm going to watch the Maggie Smith-Michael Gambon film QUARTET tonight. I missed it in the theatre this year and I've been wanting to see it.

I quite liked it. Pauline Collins, too.

It's wonderful! Funny and moving.

Kate, it's too soon to even hint at what the new book is.  Too many prying eyes, if you know what I mean, and I don't mean the dear readers.

I'll probably get the notes written early, so I can post them right at midnight.

Was Glenn Close in the film?

No, but she was in MBARNUM.

But not for long.  That would terrify Mikey!

I bet he would be more terrified if Betty Buckley was on top of him.

And E & T DR Jason is now settled in (I assume) in Seattle for the next week along with the cast and crew of VELVEETA.

I heard the production was a bit cheesy.

Ha ha!  No, unfortunately, I was sitting too high up for the cameras!

DR Kate, another movie to add to your watch list is THE HEDGEHOG. A truly lovely film in so many ways.

There must be a page ten around here somewhere.  I mean, we're havin' a rockin' New Year's Eve bash here.

BTW, my hairdresser keeps raving about PURE IMAGINATION. He said he told several people about it. I was very impressed with Sami. She doesn't look 13--or even 14--on stage; she looks more like 17 or 18. And a real pro.

DR Kate, in the children's category I'd add STATION JIM, especially since you like dogs.

I think I'll watch Timothy Olyphant shoot up Kentucky for a bit. WBBL.
