I agree.

Is anybody going to see Romeo and Juliet at the theaters next weekend? The film version of the Orlando Bloom production?

DR vixmom, I'm pretty sure, was not planning on it.

Anyone else?

Thanks to DRS singdaw and John G for the travel vibes.  I guess they worked since I've already checked in to my hotel!

Saturday afternoon greetings!  We have not had water since sometime between 6 and 8 this morning.  Fortunately, we always have gallon jugs of drinking water.  This is what we can see from our living room:

Broken water main, DR John G.  This happens from time to time in our neighborhood and the cold winter weather doesn't help.

I have spent several lovely hours on my iPad watching the team figure skating short programs from Sochi.  If you love skating, don't miss tonight's coverage on NBC!

Another dose.

Thanks, Dakota and Vixmom and John G.!  I almost had a heart attack last night, though.  I turned on the computer and started the sound board program, but all the links to the audio files within the program weren't pointing to the right place!  I couldn't figure out what happened.  THERE WAS NO SOUND!!  Gabe, the stage manager poked around and realized that the links were pointing to a main folder, but all the tracks were in a sub-folder.  And for some reason, the program wouldn't let us relink to the sub-folder.  So Gabe just copied all the tracks from the sub-folder and pasted them into the main folder and it all worked.  Whew...disaster averted!! :D

Thanks good disaster was averted!

Otherwise, the show itself went pretty well.  The kids in the audience seemed to like it, and the adults did, too.  There were no mistakes on stage or backstage.  It's pretty solid.

Good.

I love skating but I don't watch it anymore.  I used to record it and watch while Keith was travelling for work or while I was on the treadmill.  Keith doesn't travel without me anymore and we no longer have a treadmill.

I've spent the morning watching the Team figure skating too (women's short, ice dance short, and pairs long). Such an interesting event.  Also watched the moguls women's event.

You should watch it. It's really great!

Btw are you guys annoyed with NBC yet? I noticed they were not showing any events today live. And the figure skating that was on this morning is only on late tonight? How do they get away with showing things this way?

Hello, everyone.

I'm concluding week 3 of the shingles. My doctor is very pleased with my improvement, but I can't say I feel any better yet. It's still uncomfortable to move around, so it's couch potato time for me.

Congrats to DR Singdaw on the new gig. Will you still be taking other one-time singing gigs or will the church keep you busy and off the streets?
