This is DD Zach's photo from his vet visit yesterday. He is getting to be quite a senior citizen - almost 14!! Still acts like a puppy, though. He has a few problems, but they said his blood work was perfect - like a dog half his age.

When I look at those cupcakes, I'd be afraid to eat them or get cactus needles in my mouth. I know they aren't real, but it's the first thing I thought when I saw them

Today I did the laundry, including the blankets and the mattress pad. And I flipped the mattress over. I'm hoping it will be firmer on this side.

A friend in high school (when Daylight Saving Time took less of the year and "real" time was more of the year) said that he wouldn't change his clocks for the "real time" portion of the year. He stayed on Daylight Saving Time for his going to bed and waking up times and never had to deal with the change-over. Since "real time" is now only about 4 1/2 months out of the year, I keep thinking that that would be a very good idea and should be pretty easy to do. We'll see if I even remember this in November.
