SPACKLING A HOLE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes spackled several holes, and now it is time for you to post until the spackling cows come home.

I suppose the title of today's notes could also be changed slightly to Spackling A-Hole to take on a whole new meaning.

We should have a frenzy or nine to make up for yesterday's slow news day, don't you think?

Topic of the Day:  I never read comic books.  I did have one comic of "The Invisible Man," but that was the only one.

DR Jennifer I did not read the funny blurb.  If I don't fall asleep soon I will begin the book having already finished my last one.

DR Dan I am sorry your bank isn't making an effort to find the thieves.  Good for you yrying to stay calm about it!  Maybe future checks mailed to you can be marked "for depsit only".

The first comic book I can consciously remember buying at the newsstand at Pico and Robertson (next to an Orange Julius) was MAD, when it was in comic book form - I believe it was the one with the school notebook cover, but it may have been an earlier one.  I was never a major comic book person, but I did occasionally buy Superman, Jimmy Olson, Lois Lane, and a handful of others.

For that matter, I'M up very late.  Listening to a soundtrack to a film called Le Week-End by Jeremy Sams, very nice, if repetitious.

My sister loved the Archie comics and my brother Superman, which I also loved.  It is hard to remember not having comics around.  My first personal comic book was likely Superboy or Superman.

I'm not sure I'll sleep for eight hours, although I'm VERY tired.  Too bad you don't have Red Gold with you - you could finish it in a few hours. :)
