DR Jennifer I did not read the funny blurb.  If I don't fall asleep soon I will begin the book having already finished my last one.

The blurb isn't funny. IT is downright one of the creepiest things i've ever read!

LOL I guess I'm glad I missed it.  I am having a bit of trouble reading this book and reliving my life since my shoulder was broken.  Actually I would have liked to initially have had it as easy as she is.  I bet she heals better too, well I expect so as she needs to shoot again to keep her job ;)
Actually she seems to be in a lot of pain. So it is probably quite realistic. The creepy stuff is not to do with her but the other narrator and the other narrator's sister.

I've been comparing her pain to mine after my injury.  I read a bit more and I keep shaking my head how she does everything to make it worst and doesn't do the exercises, on her own, that will help.  This really expresses so very much of what I went through and still do.  I fortunately knew about the breathing methods she is learning, but that who dependency part and the frustration of it.  Gardner has done an excellent job of expressing it all while maintaining DD's personality in dealing with it.  And wisely made it the left shoulder so she could drive :)

The narrator twist is great!  But I admit I am rather distracted by relating too closely to the detective's injuries, physical & psychologically.

I was thinking the plane crossed into the future or the past. But I read too many books of that nature.

LOL, it does seem like it.

DR MBarnum, hmmm, it could be possible.

Thanks, DR Jane!  As it turns out, my outfits for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding are from Coldwater Creek.

I like their clothes but most of them don't look good on me.

Good morning, all! I will shortly head off to the orchestra reading for Encores! MOST HAPPY FELLA. This will be the first time I've heard the parts played from my edition of the score. I'm a bit excited about it.
...

DR Elmore, should Richard and I try to get tickets for that for April 2 or 3?

April 3. If you've never been to an Encores! performance, you should go. I think it may be a pretty good production,

Well, there's one lone single seat I might as well grab for that night.  I hope DR Ginny and DH Richard can make it then.  There are just a few duos down the same row (G, mezzanine) still available...

Now I've got to get the records and score out and do a little cramming for this one.

It's a date (April 3)!

We're actually going with Row J, so Richard can have the aisle he likes...

Poor DR Ginny! She just called me thinking she'd get Dr Jekyll and instead she got Mr Hyde. I was in the middle of burning a saucepan of mac'n'cheese, wondering where today's mail was, and pondering a voice message - do I listen or ignore? - and she got the brunt of my frustration. I am so sorry, DR Ginny!

And, since DR ChasSmith will be in for the April 3 performance, perhaps we could have dinner before the show?

And did I mention that the 38 musicians playing the show sounded fantastic today?

I could meet you, Richard and ChasSmith somewhere in the area around City Center.  How's the ticket search going. The balcony's a climb but the sound is fantastic and tix are cheap!

James Franciscus just kissed off Genevieve Page in YOUNGBLOOD HAWKE, but I'm not sure how she feels about it, because I can't understand a word she says....making Eva Gabor seem a paragon of pronunciation.

We splurged and got 2 on the aisle in Row J of the mezzanine.

One of our favorite restaurants, La Bonne Soupe, is right down the street from City Center (55th, between 5th and 6th).

I'm fond of the Brooklyn Diner on 57th between Broadway and Seventh and their chicken pot pie!

By the way, we just had my homemade chicken pie for dinner - last night AND tonight.
