Well, you've read the notes, the notes went with the flow, and now it is time for you to post until the flowing cows come home.

Morning, everybody! Sorry for the recent errancy & truant-ness. Been a wee bit busy lately.

TOD: Always looked forward to Passover as a child, a bit less as an adult. No real problems with any holidays.

TOD:

As a kid, I don't recall being overly excited about any religious holiday...except that on Christmas you got presents.

Good morning, all! I finished watching the extras on THE VAMPIRE LOVERS shortly before 11:00pm, but I was still wide awake around 12:30am. At some point after that, I finally fell asleep. The alarm at 7:15 was far too early, so I stayed in bed and fretted away some time before I finally decided to get out of bed. I've got physical therapy at noon today, and i am looking forward to getting out and about after three days of being stuck indoors.

When i get home, I have things to accomplish here on the telephone and at my desk. It's going to be busier than I'd like.

Thank you all for the vibes for my family. Things are not going well on too many levels in Ohio, from business to family, and Randy is carrying the burden of it. The Macbeths continue to show more of their true characters.  I now believe I was wrong in 2006 to assume their ugliness and bad behavior was a personal attack. I think they behave badly and cruelly toward anyone who threatens their sense of entitlement or unethical behavior.

Larry, sorry to hear about your ugly family machinations. My family is kind of crazy but I'm thankful that we don't have the nasty things you have to deal with.

I'm leaving early tomorrow afternoon for a weekend on Long Island. A daughter of a high school friend of Anthony's is performing in a high school production of Hairspray so we will go out for a short visit and see the show. We will also go to dinner at Olive Garden (a favorite of Anthony's parents).

More vibes for Elmore and family. Are the Macbeths doing what they're doing because a sale would mean they would have no control over anyone anymore?

TOD: I always enjoyed Easter. Great music at church, a basket of candy (I never cared for hard-boiled eggs as a kid, so the eggs weren't a big deal), and a good meal. We didn't have spring break in grade school as a kid, but we did have Good Friday off, so it was a longer weekend than most.

As much as I wanted to like Christmas, the family always intervened. The stress would get too much for some members, so it was a trying time. I enjoy it much more now that I'm on my own.

Well, I'm getting tanked on yerba mate already and need to finish editing this manuscript. Please send vibes that each of the proofreaders, including myself, catch all those mistakes out there.

Good morning, all, a little late.

Been sitting here ketchuping on a couple of things, and the first cup of coffee is so far behind me it seems like yesterday.  So I shall now go downstairs and brew another K-cup.  For all of those interested in following along (and let's face it, I know that includes most of you), I have a few days to go on this supply of Newman's Own Special Blend, and when I replenish I'm going to go back to the Starbucks that I really enjoyed before it.

Thursday.  I gave my sister Molly her early birthday present, a nice tablet computer with a keyboard like the one I bought myself - only hers has a lavender case.  She likes it very much and played on it all afternoon.

We also went to Goodwill, where I found a print or drawing of a shi-tzu that looks just like Precious, so I bought it to hang on the wall....very nice....price was nice, too.

Larry, sorry to hear about your ugly family machinations. My family is kind of crazy but I'm thankful that we don't have the nasty things you have to deal with.

My dad's company was sold to Randy and Macbeth in the 1980s and it's going under. Everything will be auctioned off in May. I'm sorry this has happened, but I've seen it coming for some time, and Randy, much like me, was never a businessman.  This happens to many family businesses, and soon my dad's company will be one more forgotten company in Middletown, OH. The news would kill my dad, so I'm glad he's dead.

Now that this has happened, the Macbeths, who regarded the company as their personal bank account before retirement two-three years ago, want to insure that they get their "fair" share of the sale, and every day Lady M, who's like a dog with a bone when it comes to things she wants, is stirring up trouble. She wants to know how much I owe the company so she can come after me, and I have great news for the bitch: nothing!

That is great news. I wouldn't put it past her, though, to try to trump up some evidence otherwise.     ???

Count on it.  People like that don't shut up and go away.  They don't even have the courtesy to die.  The only known remedy is as illustrated in THE VAMPIRE LOVERS.  The stake and the sword, liberally applied.
