Thanks.  I am curious.  I suppose you can't find out if Judy knows she messed up big time with the dog ;)

The Guthrie - a great regional theater - is producing My Fair Lady this summer. I'm going to have to go, because I am embarrassed to admit that I have never seen the film, or a stage production of the show.
And I have wanted to see the Guthrie, so - it's a no-brainer.

DR Singdaw, you are in for a treat!  Well, concerning MY FAIR LADY, anyway - I've never seen The Guthrie.  I've seen MFL at least 3 times on stage and the film countless times and I always cry at the end.

I always cry, too.  I was certainly shocked when Eliza died.

LOL!

DR elmore I am very glad your day went well!!!!

Thanks, Nursie! I'm happy I survived it. Things went so smoothly today that we kept thinking, if we say anything good, we'll jinx it.

I expected at several points in the past three days for Judy's head to spin 360 degrees, spit fire and throw me out the window!

I'm heading home.  I'm going to wander through Costco a bit first...just because I can. :)

Until later.

I was in BEEKMAN PLACE when I was in my twenties.  It is one of the only plays I did, that I remember nothing of the show or even who I played.

Went to the San Antonio Symphony's Patriotic Pops concert tonight. A few pieces, such as Sousa, were expected, but much of the program was movie music from John Williams, Tiomkin, etc.

My favorite part was a Glenn Miller medley in which the conductor joined in on clarinet, plus a sing-along to songs such as Yankee Doodle Dandy and Grand Old Flag.

The concert was superb. I mean, really superb. The singers were excellent, all off-book, and it was semi-staged. However, a lot of people didn't appreciate the modern music. The audience for the second half was noticeably smaller.

I was thrilled.

You specify everything that you want on your burger (or hot dog) and except for bacon or cheese, without any additional charge.
