Well, you've read the notes, the notes jumped into June, and now it is time for you to post until the June cows come home.

Today, I will be working concessions from 11:00 am until probably 5:30.  What was I thinking??  I signed up for two shifts because no one signed up for any.  It's really an easy gig.  I'll bring my Kindle and read while the shows are going on.  I'll also be able to get something to eat in between the two shows.

DR Cillaliz - sorry that you and your family are going through such a difficult time. Continued thoughts your way!

DR TCB - well, some of the snubs were directed at me. There is some serious dysfunction in the DH's family. Mix in some ardent religion issues and a gay couple, and you've got a party!
But the issues aren't confined solely to us.

Still, everything came off civilly.      :)

Today will involve major transportation logistics (mainly due to a grand event visited by 200,000 people that is located just a few blocks from where we live), a church service, two rehearsals at a different church, and then a 2.5 hour road trip to return my mother-in-law home.

Easy, peasey, lemon breezy.      :)

singdaw, what's it they sing at weddings:

Snubs and marriage, snubs and marriage
It's a chance for people to disparage
If they hate your mother
They're sure to blame it on your brother

or something like that

If anyone is waiting (like I was) for the Criterion release of It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World to go down in price I bought it yesterday at Costco for $20.

Good morning, all.

I have a day of reading to catch up on.

Yesterday just evaporated into the mist.
