I think my favorite song tonight was Rock Island.

I did some low-carb dieting a few weeks ago and dropped ten pounds.  (Not patting myself on the back.  First ten or whatever is always the easy part.)

I've been hiking miles every day. And I've lost 2.6 pounds in four months. I have followed a sensible diet for months now.

But I have massive calf muscles, I hear.

I've heard that there is a blog on the Internet solely devoted to DR Laura's massive calf muscles.

And someday there will be a musical based on the movie, based on the TV series, based on the book about them.

Not as massive as former DR Jason's, though.

Sophie Okonedo won Featured Actress in a Play, "A Raisin in the Sun."  And she's a Jewish British Nigerian!  Who knew?

Wow, DR Cillaliz - that's quite a list!      :)

Seriously, we were all laughing at what was going to happen next.  No one was seriously hurt, but my parents kept walking around saying "If you hit your head, you need to worry about a subdural hematoma, make sure you don't have one" my grandfather had one so mom would tell the whole story of him falling and hitting his head, it really is serious, but my parents don't have very good short term memory so they both  just kept talking about it.  By the last day my dad had convinced himself that he had one in the past - he's never had one but he's just sure he did and was talking about  it. It was quite the experience

Nice parody, DR FJL.

But I miss all the ones that feature FETA.     :)

Not as massive as former DR Jason's, though.

I'm sure there will be a scene in the book/movie/musical of you and Jason comparing calf muscles

Well it isn't my family it's my sister in law's.  My mom kept saying "Boy, this would never have happened in my family".  We seriously laughed a lot.

This post had nothing to do with the Tonys.

It does have something to do with the Snickers bar I just ate.

I should follow your example

I was eating dinner with some friends this evening and one of them was talking about New Jersey diners.

It made me want to launch a three-week tour of every diner in NJ, LI, and CT.

I should get some sleep.  I have a couple projects I've successfully put off as long as they can be put off.  If I want to get them done in the morning I need to go in before Edith gets there.   So good night all

Did anyone note that "somebody" won for orchestration over Jonathan Tunick?
