Voldemort is basically a middle school girl: he has a locket, a diary, a tiara, a ring, and is completely obsessed with a teenage boy.

I'm up after a lousy night's sleep, maybe four hours.  Why?  Because after I wrote the notes I got a call and that call was really kind of the call I've been waiting for - it was about the bad business and I now, finally, know everything that went on - how it began, how it escalated and most importantly WHO was responsible for keeping (or attempting to keep) the atmosphere toxic.  That person failed, but boy did that person try.  I heard so many things that it was more mind-boggling than the things I heard at dinner.  In fact, the person who was telling me this had reported this person for what this person was doing - reported her to the same person who was in charge of finding things out.  That person, rather than stopping that behavior, which was completely out of control, out of bounds and out of line, did nothing.  So, yes, I think a second letter will be going out with all this new information because I want it all on the record.

As they say, "Give 'em hell, Harry!"

I, for one, will be glad to know the specifics of said "bad business"  when it is safe for you to write specifically about it.

Ditto.

The HBO documentary, 'Six By Sondheim', is now available for stream viewing on Amazon.

I got an Emmy For-Your-Consideration DVD, but I also just bought the officially released DVD from Warner Archives.

Tonight one of my favorite shows in returning, Suits. Does anybody here watch this?  I highly recommend it.

I watch SUITS and thoroughly enjoy it...but my DVR crapped out tonight.  I'll just record the re-broadcast at midnight, but I could've been watching it now. :P

What I learned that helped me win trials was that there was one member of the "dream team" who worked tirelessly, studied the evidence over and over and was more prepared than anyone else....Barry Scheck.  He became my hero and I learned that the only way to win a trial is to know all the evidence better than anyone else in the courtroom. I started winning jury trials after that.  The other lawyers were OK, but made a ton of mistakes.  Some very basic ones. They may have been famous, but there's real doubt about whether they were a team

Sounds like a very important lesson to learn...and almost the most obvious one.  But good for you, Cilla.
