TOD:

Yes, I could sure use me some TOD.  Let's see...

Blu-ray:
ALL THAT HEAVEN ALLOWS (I'll at least start watching it tonight)
RED RIVER (same)
THE MECHANIC (I think I'm most interested in seeing this one straight through tonight)

What else?  Got so much music (CDs and LPs) to ketchup on, I can't even begin to name them.

Audiobook and DVD:
HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY -- I love this and revisit it every few years.  Listened to the book on my last car trip, and am halfway through the BBC production.

If you are watching the BBC DVD of HITCHHIKER'S GUIDE, I believe you are seeing my friend Simon Jones.

Yes, the BBC DVD, and he's Arthur Dent!  Excellent!

The VixFamily needs a live-in on-site auto mechanic.  :)

Good morning.

It is 87 F at 4:13 a.m. Ugh.

We had a record low of 39 degrees last night

I am very glad it's Friday-- 13th or no 13th.

That is the question!

Michigan's capitol city has a Class A minor league baseball team called the Lansing Lugnuts.

There's also a team called the Wingnuts.  We play them.   Tonight we played the Airhogs.  They won

On July 11 if you go into a Chik Fil A totally dressed as a cow you get a free meal.  If you go only partially dressed as a cow you get a free entrée.   Who would do that?

THE MECHANIC was much fun, and I look forward to listening to cinematographer Richard Kline's commentary track hosted by one Mr. Redman.

I am officially on vacation.  I'm not going anywhere, and am very happy about that.  We just closed the office for a week.  Edith said "Don't you want to put an in case of emergency number"  I decided no.  If I put up my home or cell number, people will just call me because every little thing is an emergency.  If it's a true emergency, there are people who can reach me since I'm not leaving town

I can't wait to actually to go sit and have coffee in the middle of the morning and actually go places on week days.  It's been a long time since I"ve done that.   My brain needs a total break and I'm going to do my best to do it

It was a beautiful night for a ball game.  We're supposed to have severe weather tomorrow night and between tonight and tomorrow could get up to 4 inches of rain.  Yikes!  Glad I live near the top of the hill!

But the past few days have been absolutely beautiful.  Highs in the 70s and low 80s with low humidity.  Unbelievable

Tomorrow at the library there is a guy talking about haunted places in Iowa.  One of them he claims is haunted is the airport here where 232 crashed.  Since I'm reading a lot about 232 right now, I may go and hear this guy.  It could be interesting

Ok, I'm feeling kind of grungy from being at the game.   Think I'll take a shower and go upstairs and read.  Night all

It is what it is DR SINGDAW.

Although I must say that adding ONE convenience to the ladies' room so that we have a total of three instead of two has had a remarkable effect on the intermission time.  We used to have to wait....but the audience has been seated and ready to go in 13 or 14 minutes instead of the usual 20.....

Did that just require punching a third hole in the floor?

And does this mean that the theater can now convenience three women in the time it used to take to convenience two?

Back, with a bag full of lug nuts.  I had to go to three stores!

Plain?  Or salted?
