The royalty check wasn't large by any means, but significantly larger than two cents.  It was more than I thought it would be and I was very happy to get it.

T.O.D.

I would like to visit Windows on the World Restaurant in the World Trade Center one last time.  I was there maybe four or five times, and I always just assumed it would be there the next time I got to New York.

The time machine would take me to Rebozo's on a day when Andy was there.

BK, was the song, "You There in the Back Row" written by Patti LuPone?

Not sure if you are serious or not but it was written by Cy Coleman and Barbara Fried. It was written for a failed musical (13 Days To Broadway) about the writing of musical that closed out of town. (Home Again, Home Again)

Liz Callaway recorded it on her album The Story Goes On: Liz Callaway On & Off Broadway.

Just finished watching "The Grand Budapest Hotel," which I found really funny. And I loved the extra that showed me how to make the dessert. It's a little much for me, but I might have to try that at Christmas.

Bruce one of my FB friends just put this up....

#‎Update‬ and ‪#‎Correction‬: We were misinformed that Meryl Streep was originator of text (just words she lives by). The actual writer of text was written and and published by the great Portuguese Author, José Micard Teixeira!...

DR Mike - pretty sure that he was referring to the Lupone Gypsy incident with the inappropriate audience photographer.

Goodreads sent me an email that a book I want to read was released today.  I went to Keith's library account and found, since I had pre-requested it, "The Bone Clocks" by David Mitchell in my hold queue and I am 1st in line for the book out of 22 people.

Between our two accounts I am next up for a total of 4 books and 2nd in line for 1 book.  If they all come in and once I will be in a bit of a panic.

What do they do if you are at your limit? Do you just go next in the queue?

Well, I have just uploaded 12 nude photos of myself to The Cloud.  That ought to stop anyone from hacking into my account.

I thought of something for the TOD yesterday.

After I saw a movie on tv, I got a book from the library titled 1984.....it was most interesting....although it was very different from the movie.....

And I didn't think 1984 would ever come.....now it has come...and GONE.

Did you just notice??   ;)

AH DR JANE....I did not mean to imply that the creators and producers of BIG BROTHER were unaware....I was thinking about the contestants......

So far I don't any of the teams lined up for TAR.....but maybe they were all a bit over the top in the videos on the site....and I certainly don't like the crossovers from Survivor again.

Here's a recipe from a 1954 cookbook that sounds like something you'd serve to guests you hated:

Bouillon on the Rocks
Pour undiluted canned beef bouillon over crushed ice. Serve as appetizer. May be seasoned with lemon juice, etc., to suit your taste.

Ew!!!  Do you drink it??  That sounds nasty! :P

Yup. You're supposed to drink it. And yup, it does sound nasty.

I like bouillon.
