Well, you've read the notes, the notes were meddlesome and coughed, and now it is time for you to post until the coughing cows come home.

We are expecting BIG thunder and rainstorms here is Austin today.  Possibly even hail and a tornado.

We watched THE DAY OF THE LOCUSTS last night.

It's a bit long, but well done.

Saturday morning greetings!  Dreary morning here in SW Ohio, but at least the snow is melting.  Have to tend a bit to my Mother today and be home for Michigan's 3:30 kick-off against Maryland.  Wasn't it considerate of the Wolverines to take last Saturday off so I could play with HHW?  Anyway - Go, Blue!

Surviving the weather vibes to DR DRUXY.

I am also enjoying hearing MR BK's songs sung by Sandy.  All of the photos in the book are terrific as well.  I like the photo fo MR BK and Sandy on the back of the booklet.

And the photos at Capitol Studios.....where all those wonderful records were recorded.....very interesting.....

When I listen to Sandy.....I think of those terrific 50's vocalists......she has kind of a Nancy Wilson timbre going on.....not a comparison, just an observation.....

Today in the mail, I received a box full of Frances Farmer items from someone who was cleaning out his file cabinets.

I shall now open said box and see what treasures I have inherited.

Good morning, all! I slept late since i was up late reading the draft of a friend's book about show biz, then I had to wait for my computer to connect to Time Warner, and here I am.

It's a work day, and so is tomorrow. There's nothing to report here.

I had posted that I was planning to give the new Sandy CD a good listen today, but I just got access to my training portal for work, and now I need to spend the entire weekend in online learning trying to get credentialed by the state.

Last night we had company for dinner and then set off to hear a pipe organ recital, which turned out to be quite incredible. They had a good crowd, too.

The Twin Cities organist guild is second in size only to the NYC chapter and perhaps one other city.

The more you cough, the more you have to cough.  It's insidious.  My weapon of choice in controlling and eventually getting rid of it is Robitussin-D, or store brand equivalents (CVS's Tussin-D, etc.).

There are different varieties for different kinds of cough needs, but for me, "D" first and foremost gets the constant hacking under control, while making the coughs more productive so you get rid of crap.  I follow dosage instructions, and the important thing is to keep it going until you're truly rid of the cough.
