I need to take a shower then go to work for a moment.  I just need to see if I have a meeting on a day that my friend Margo would like me to drive her to a medical procedure.  After that, I'm going to meet Margo and her friend Marsha at the new Oyster House.  None of us has been there since it's been rebuilt, but I've heard good things about it.

Since I've got nothing else to post about:

BroadwayWorld article on Skip's HERRINGBONE CD release
http://www.broadwayworld.com/article/Yellow-Sound-Label-to-Release-BD-Wongs-HERRINGBONE-122-20141121

I can't wait to get my copy.  I just think that it would've been nice if us Kickstarter supporters could've gotten our copies before it was made available for purchase by the general public.

There are several puzzles on Lumosity.com that are interesting.

I am not much of a jigsaw puzzle fan, but I like most word puzzles....but not a crossword puzzle.

I play Bookworm a lot on my computer.

I bought the CD-ROM for Bookworm.  My mom and her friend Mona both love the game.  The last time I was at my parents' house, my mom had gotten over seven million points!  Of course, you can stop the game and it'll save what you've accrued, so it wasn't all in one sitting.  I'm okay at it...the highest level that I've gotten to is just over a million points.

this morning I was wakened from a  sound sleep by AARP wanting to do a survey I explained that calling people at the crack of dawn on a Saturday was unacceptable and that they must remove my number from their call list and never, ever, EVER call me again

The Vixter (who it turns out was on the extension) later explained to me that it was 10am

Vixmom, it was the crack of dawn somewhere in the world.

Just off the phone with Richard Sherman - he played the Sandy CD as soon as he got back in LA ("on the good speakers - loud") and I'm happy to say he absolutely loved the entire album.  He was thrilled with Two Roads and how it came out, and was impressed by all the songs, the arrangements and orchestrations, and Sandy's vocals.  His favorite song on the CD?  Three Acts.

So BK, when are you and Richard Sherman going to write another song together??

:D

Cilla, thanks for mentioning Care Credit. I'd heard of them, but didn't know there was no interest for a year. I'll keep that in mind.

Maybe this will give DR Kate a much-needed smile...

It gave me a smile. Does that count?

Spent the morning cleaning house and arranging for a cleaning woman to come in and do it right. That happens Monday.

I, too, clean before the cleaners arrive, though I often wonder why. Toward the end of every year I'm in the mood to give everything a thorough cleaning and toss what I don't need. Every year I do some of each, but never finish either one. This year I'm trying to do as much tossing as I can, and hire help with the cleaning. I'm learning to accept that I can't do it all and won't delegate the tossing. We'll see how that goes.

A few years ago I received a 9 am call from someone in the financial services industry, wanting to know if everything was OK with my account. I wasn't sleeping, but I had just gotten out of the shower and was busy dressing and doing the usual morning routine--and was a bit rushed at that. I did not appreciate being called at that hour, particularly when nothing was wrong with my account. I later learned that the caller was from DC and, of course, it was noon there. Just because it's legal to start telemarketing at 9 am does not make it acceptable IMO. His call really was a sales call, just disguised to look like something else.

Someone should tell Vixmom's AARP person, "Don't you know this is Vixmom, who works all the hours God sends and still does lots of good works for others and NEEDS HER SLEEP!"

Well, I'm off to work for a moment, then to dinner with my two "M" friends, Margo and Marsha.

Be back later.

I have never heard of drinking water for chronic pain or for coughs  all I know is that if I had to drink a half ounce of water for every pound I weigh there would soon be a Vixmom induced drought on the Island of Long

Just hang out with me, Vixmom, and you'll hear of all sorts of cutting-edge, pushing-the-envelope, quirky, far-out, extreme new ways to deal with ailments of all sorts. Why, just yesterday I received a publication about...never mind.  :)  That's just what I do.

(1) DR Jeanne believes in drinking lots of water. She currently lives in California.

(2) California is experiencing a severe drought.

Are the two related??

I hate when the WiFi dies.

The day the wifi died. My, my Miss American Pie. Drove the Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry...You know the rest.

I think anyone trying to type with a stovepipe should definitely NOT have his scotch replenished.

LOL.

To answer Geroge's question - I may give Richard another lyric for Christmas - maybe this time a ballad of some sort.

I used to get early morning calls for Keith from financial guys wanting to sell their sevices to Keith, only he was never home.  For awhile I was harassed by one particularly rude man.  Why he thought Keith would ever give him any business after the way he treated me is mind boggling.
