Who here has bought the "Christmas at Downton Abbey" double CD?

Thoughts?

Back from getting the motor car, which is now running splendidly, and a very good and nice lunch meeting at a very good and nice restaurant called Home, near the House of Pies.  I liked the food there very much.

Good for you DR Ron!!!  Vibes the polyps are not the pre-cancer kind and you can go 5 years before doing this again.  The drink is horrid but far better than the hell that is colon cancer.

Congratulations, DR RonPulliam. I hope you get good results back.

They gave me something different, which was very easy to take and had no flavor at all. Didn't make me sick or anything.

DR George, please would you make a copy of Peter Pan for me? I have neither TV nor DVR. I would like to watch it on the computer screen.

I'm watching some of the previews of this, and, well, it seems kinda ... flat.

I cancelled my appointment with the cable company since the DVR seems to be working now(for shows recorded since Tuesday--I still can't play some shows recorded earlier in the week.

I can't imagine it will top the Cathy Rigby version, but I'll keep an open mind.

Nothing will top the Sandy Duncan Peter Pan - not Rigby, not this thing.  Anyone who saw the Duncan production will understand.

One person on Facebook (and I'm sure she's not alone) has posted "if you're going to tweet that you hate Peter Pan unfriend me now."  What is wrong with people on Facebook?  It's like they lose their sanity.  It's like their twelve years old.  So, no one can post or tweet that they don't like a show and not be this person's friend?  It's unbelievable.  Do you think she'd have the chutzpah to say that to anyone's face - any friend of hers?  Because she'd look like a first-class idiot.  I'm tempted to unfriend her just for the hell of it.

Yes.

Many doctors don't use it because it doesn't work as well.  After my reaction to the last stuff my doctor said I was ok to use it.

Found the recipe in our Unseemly Archive:

UNSEEMLY WACKY NOODLES

1 12oz. bag of wide egg noodles, mostaciolli or bow tie pasta (your choice).

Boil them noodles.

Drain them noodles and put 'em back in the pot and put the pot back on the stove and put the flame on low.

To the noodles add the following:

One can cream of mushroom soup
Fill the empty soup can with milk and add that.
Add as much dried minced onion as you like (the kind you find in the seasoning section of your market)
Add salt and pepper
Add two tablespoons or a bit more of ketchup (don't be scared, you must trust me - this is basically for color and it adds just the right flavor ultimately)
Mix it all together whilst singing Beat Me Daddy Eight to the Bar
When it is heated through and through add five to eight ounces of sour cream (depending on your waist size) and mix again thoroughly and heat on low until hot, stirring constantly. Serve (will probably need extra salt as you serve).

Now, I know it sounds wacky, because, after all, they are Wacky Noodles, but they are delicious, kind of like stroganoff without meat. Give it a try, you'll like it for sure.

So glad the cats are able to stop when Cilla gets firm with them rather than get more excited.

They don't want to be sent to their rooms :)

Yes, it's delayed.  It's on at 8:00 Pacific time.
