Some day I will watch Peter Pan Live. And when I do, I will most likely keep my thoughts to myself.

Would anyone object if we move Christmas back a month or two? I figure I should be ready mid February

Rehearsal is done, finally.  I have eaten some shrimp cocktail shrimp and a couple of wonderful truffle things that came today - an early birthday present from FJL and Skip.

No one watched Peter Pan Live?  I'm not hearing anything good about it, save for Kelli O'Hara and Christian Borle.

Well, we got us five count them five GUESTS looking at this board alone, so I guess I'd better entertain.  Heaven knows, George won't be back until the middle of the night.

I'll have to be a very good boy tomorrow, food-wise.  Perhaps an omelet, perhaps some chicken tenders, perhaps a small sandwich.

I watched PETER PAN LIVE, and I enjoyed it a grat deal.  Was it Mary Martin's version?   NO.  I grew up on Mary's version and it will always have a special place in my heat.  But I thought the whole show was delightful, and just right for a new generation.

I saw Sandy Dubcan do PETER PAN three times on Broadway.  Cathy would kill me if she read this, but (as BK said) I doubt there will ever be a better Peter Pan.  She was amazing!  Laura, you can see Sandy Duncan do the"I'm Flying" number on YouTube.

I have also seen Cathy Rigby do PETER PAN on three different tours.  I think she has gotten better and better.  The last time I saw her, but not with what's-his-name, she blew me away.

Well, it's opening night for "The HEAD! That Wouldn't Die!"  Pray for Rosemary's baby! ;)

Be back later!

Well, we had a pretty good performance...except when I goobered up the music cue during the opening number. ::) SPOO!!  The cast, however, was right there with it, and a couple of audience members (during intermission) didn't indicate that they even noticed that anything was wrong!

WHEW! :D

Christopher Walken is giving a bizarre take on Captain Hook.   And he's not exactly a singer.    I am enjoying Christian Borle as Smee.

I just got home and haven't watched it yet...but I wondered about Walken as Hook.

But why do I have to choose one version over another?  Why can't I enjoy each one?  I have seen several versions of HAMLET, including Christopher Walkin's version.  Do I have to come out of each production and declare which one is better?

We had a reviewer tonight and he told Pug (the director and the adapter) that he loved this!  Now we just need to get the butts in the seats!

I've only seen her "Peter" on the DVD, but I saw her live in "Seussical."  She was wonderful...in my humble opinion.

I enjoyed Peter Pan on Broadway, but it isn't one of my favorite shows....I quit watching...should I admit that?

Why not?  I'm going to bed and will probably watch it tomorrow but may skip through some parts.  Christopher Walken is making me appreciate even more how good Cathy Rigby's Captain Hook was.  Can't think of his name...

Paul Schoeffler.  Among other things, he was on the BK recorded No Way To Treat a Lady...which I love!
