The snow is mostly gone. There may be some snow on Christmas Day, but the temp will be mid-thirties so it won't stay. It's going to be in the 50's on Wednesday !

Thanks for the travel vibes ! They must have worked. While the plane left 30 minutes late, it still arrived on time according to the schedule. The actual flying time was about 50 minutes.

I am most curious to see what the plaza area of Ashland looks like. I read that between scouting Ashland to film and the actual filming of the town scenes our "beautification" project was completed. I can't express how dreary the "beautified" area looks. Before filming the scenes they had to brighten up the area to make it look more like it originally did.

I am home from Toyland to warn you all: when you think you've hit the bottom, you can still go lower.

I got to Toyland to find that the internet was out. So, i called the server and a customer service technician tried various things before advising me it could be the Linksys router and perhaps we needed to buy a new one. Well, even if i went out and bought one, I have no idea what to do with it.

Since the foundation appears dead and I expect the office to be closed when the lease expires in July, there's clearly no point in purchasing one and trying to get repayment from the foundation , so what the hell?

I accomplished nothing there today, another exercise in frustration.

Great pictures, Ginny! But please take the "after" pictures from the exact same positions so that we really can see the "before and after" comparisons much more easily.
