I think TCB's poem should be part of EVERY Christmas Eve from now on.

Last Saturday I had a very long day. An bird-fancier group had contacted my church to use the facility for a Christmas party. They sent the most glowing review about me. It was nice to be appreciated.

I had oatmeal with blueberries and coffee for breakfast.

We will have ham for dinner, along with various side dishes and before that, as all good Italians do, they will put out enough appetizer food to feed the Italian army with left overs for the Greek Army just across the water. It's fun but too much food!

BK, have you ever posted your recipe for the tuna pasta, or is that a closely guarded secret?

Christmas Morning greetings! It's very quiet here, but we were awakened about 7am by Allie Cat, who wanted her breakfast and some attention.  Richard and I have had a bacon and egg breakfast and opened some presents.  We'll be off to Cincinnati in a few hours for an all-adult Christmas dinner with Richard's brother and his wife.

DR Kate, her husband and I went to our brother's house last night. Our niece was there with her husband and 2-year old son, who's quite energetic!  My sister-in-law made macaroni and cheese and pizza and meat and cheese to make your own subs. She had lots of desserts, including buckeye cookies.  All very delicious!

My hot chocolate was especially delicious this morning.  First I mixed my new spiced mexican chocolate mix into steamed milk.   then decided it needed some of my  Ghirardelli ground chocolate and more steamed milk.  I then added frothed milk-yum!
