Hi guys! Things are still frantically busy but I hope to be back here much more in the newer future

I hope we see Vixmom more in the "newer future", too. Would that be 2015? Is there an old future?

Larry, I want your Mac Man! I wish he were closer. The last guy I tried was a dud.

I'm glad to hear that your computer is up and running again and that you didn't lose any files. I'm also glad you have a back-up computer, even if you don't like it. Have you asked your Mac Man if he can adjust the font size? I have a Macbook, but I haven't played with the settings enough to know if this is possible.

DR Jeanne, my Mac Man's a former actor, and really good.  The computer is letting me know things are not settled: right now I can only connect to the internet via the wi-fy, meaning there is indeed a glitch between the modem -cable and the computer.

I am not amused.

Enjoyed my trip to Ohio and my chance to meet Ginny and catch up with old friends in their new home. But the drive back to Louisville in frequent torrential downpours was no fun. Got home at 1:30 am and made it to 8 am services with the folks.

Relaxing and watching a weird but likable movie entitled The Grand Budapest Hotel.  I watched the first thirty minutes of a not weird and most unlikable movie entitled Unbroken - I don't believe I need to finish it at all.  The studio who released it is trying to buy the film nominations and Awards, to wit, spending twelve million dollars per WEEK to do so.

I'm online for the nonce, so good night, all! It's been a roller coaster day riding my Mac.

I spent the day essentially trying to get out of the funk I've been in lately.  I went out for breakfast and...I don't know exactly what I've been doing. Mid afternoon I decided to start cleaning out the ..well it's supposed to be a closet for towels but was full of lotion, make up ,bath stuff and just a lot of miscellaneous stuff I put in there when I moved in back in 2006.. SO, I tossed and tossed.  Two garbage bags full.  I tossed all sorts of old lotions from hotels that had dried up, expired  things of all sorts and all the old make-up that was there.  I still need to go back and organize what's left but man that was huge.   There was a box of stuff from when I sold my place at the lake back in 2006.  Yikes!  I had duplicates of everything so I just tucked the box on the bottom of the closet and left it there.  Needless to say it was almost all thrown out.

That cheered me up immensely.   I also went shopping at Wal-Mart.  It's been a long time since I just wandered down the aisles and checked things out.  I found a bunch of jigsaw puzzles for mom and dad.  THey only do 300s so it's a bit hard to find them.  I didn't really get much else, just some groceries I needed.  I forgot ice cream again.  Sam made me home made hot fudge for Christmas and I only had a tiny bit of ice cream in the freezer so I didn't get to eat much of it.  I must remedy that

Oh, while I was cleaning things out I found a box of hair dye so I dyed my hair.  It looks more like my avatar now

I announced that I would be open tomorrow and Tuesday, so I'll be heading into the office.  I don't have any appointments or court, but I do have a few things that really need to get done.  I also want to try to get organized, closing some old files and opening some new ones, entering the info into the computer that sort of thing.

I am taking Wednesday through Sunday off.   That will be the real break.  I got a lot of sleep over the past few days and sat and rested a lot.  I'm feeling much better so I'm hoping to enjoy my next time off by getting some projects done

One of my new years resolutions is to go through every drawer and closet in the house and either donate, recycle or throw out the things I don't need or want anymore.  I may even separate out some things to sell on eBay.  We'll see about that.  Anyway, I'd like to tackle at least one set of drawers or a closet every week.  More would be better, but I think if I just keep the goal small I may get through everything.

If I really get on a roll, I can start bringing in the boxes in my storage area in the garage and sorting through them.  I'm not going to push it, but if I get everything else organized that will be next.  A lot of those boxes came from my place at the lake and my old office at the lakes. There aren't any client files, but there's a lot of other stuff I thought I'd need but have never looked at....that's either going to be tossed or shredded and tossed.

So, essentially I'm cleaning house to be ready for the new year and it's made me feel much better.

A hot fudge sundae would be divine right now, but that will have to wait until tomorrow

Sorry I don't have much else to report.  I did watch August Osage County tonight.  The play was much better and I'm glad I didn't pay to see it at the theater.

I didn't make it to  a movie this weekend.  I think this year I"m going to wait and watch more of them at home.  For the price of one movie and a popcorn I can have HBO for a month.  That's something I have to consider

I just have to get used to checking to see what's on and what I want to record.  I'm not used to doing that as it's been a long time since I had HBO.  I got it to see The Newsroom, and now I have to decide how much longer I"m going to keep HBO

This is one of my mom's cats. She calls her Marilyn because she had a nosy neighbor named Marilyn and the cat is very nosy.  Her name is Lily but she's also called...the cat
