I'm up after eight hours of sleep. I woke up at ten, stayed in bed and read e-mails on the iPad until ten-thirty, got up, did all my corrections on the two charts and got those where they needed to go, then pushed the rehearsal for an hour because the Piano Man is coming to take the hammers to be replaced. He's saying I should have it all back by Friday or Saturday and hopefully that will be the case.

And I am home from the afternoon dress of PAINT YOUR WAGON at Encores! The cast is excellent, the male chorus is quite wonderful, the dancers are pretty and they have some good choreography, including a wonderful pas de deux, and a fantastic orchestra led by the absolute best. The show? Second-tier Lerner and Loewe is better than some of what passes as first-tier now.

DR LAURA my problems with the juror come from her connections to the defense team, her admissions to the judge, and her lying to get onto the jury.

I also am suspicious that 12 other people (including one other alternate) heard the same testimony she did, and voted for the DP.

I don't mind that the sentence on April 13 will be LWOP, it's really better for the Alexander family - they won't have to deal with an annual appeal - and Arias has to pay for her own appellate appeals.

No, but I hear there have been inquiries. If I were representing Lerner and/or Loewe, I would put some of my MY FAIR LADY, CAMELOT and BRIGADOON royalties into producing one, simply to get a good cast - and this cast is good - and excellent orchestra to preserve a more complete score in great sound.

I was really knocked over by Justin Guarini today - very charming, moves well, sounds quite good - and I love the young lady Alexandra Socha (?) playing Carradine's daughter Jennifer. Carradine is excellent, and my friend Bill Youmans as the Mormon selling a wife is very funny.
